For my periodic table project i play the sport soccer so i thought it would be a cool experience to do soccer balls. My groups were based upon types of soccer balls and my periods were based on the price of the soccer balls. There are many groups of soccer balls the first one I chose was premium match balls the properties of these is that it is the highest ranking soccer ball , Fifa approved, have perfect shape, flight, durability and doesn't let water into it. The second group I did was match balls and the properties of these is the same as the premium match but is used in high school and some college. The third group is training balls are extremely durable and used on basically any field. They're used in practices most of the time for technical training. The fourth group is turf balls are durable for artificial grass fields the texture outside the ball is softer so it doesn't skip across the field. The fifth group is indoor balls which are made to have less rebound to suit the tight conditions of a game also they are made with durable covers. The sixth group is Futsal balls these are smaller than an average size of five or four ball and they are smaller for hard surfaces. also they are made to have a low bounce, The seventh group is street or beach balls are softer so they are comfortable when you kick it also they are water resistant. The eighth group is mini balls which are tiny tiny balls for playing with and juggling. The trends on my periodic table are the same as the real one. My table decreases as you move across periods because the manufacturing of the ball is less therefore the price is going to drop. When you move down a group the price increases because the bottom ball for that group is the most well made or developed which usually consists of water proof, durability, and the the needs for using the product. Overall my periodic table consists of the same trends decreasing across and increasing down but my periodic table isn't made up of elements it's made up of soccer balls.
