2007-2010- College

I began at Lindenwood University in the fall of 2007 to study History. I went through three years of college and graduated in 2010 with a degree in History.

2010-First years of teaching

Once I graduated, I began to work for a school/daycare. I began as an assistant teacher for the preschool and then as the years went by, I taught PE, Social Studies, and then 1st grade, then 2nd and 3rd grade before leaving.

2019-Moving across the country

I was unsure if I would have a job in the fall, I began to look for new teaching jobs and landed a 3rd grade job in Arizona. So, I packed up and moved my family of four to Arizona (with a 2- and 2-month-old).

2020- Master Learning

Began to take master level classes with teaching 4th grade, two kids in sports, and Leadership responsibility. I also received Teacher of the Year.

2022-Missing Courses

Once I finished my master classes and graduated, I found out that I was missing classes. There was a total of six classes still missing, in order for me to get my license. So, I was working to find a way to take classes without having to restart a major.

2024- Finding my courses

Rio Salado was the only school that would allow me to just take the courses I needed. So, here I am working on finishing my classes.

2025- My Goal

My goal is to be fully license by 2026. I hope to head toward home once I finish.
