Demonstration Stations-
This tool is a great way for student to display what they know. This can be used for any age groups but certain more creative adaptations can be made for younger students. This measures the students ability to retain information. A CDE Standard that this aligns with is 3.MD.B Measurement and Data: Represent and Interpret Data. Some strengths of the tool are that it can be applied to any subject and another is that it is an assessment that can be used as little or as much as one wants.

Muddiest Point-
Since math is such an important concept to continue building off of prior learned information, this is an amazing tool to use with students. By giving students an opportunity to clear up a concept that one or more students are confused about, there will be less issues later. This is another tool that can be used for any age. This will target students critical thinking skills. This targets CDE Standard MP1. Make sense of problems and perservere in solving them.

Debates-
This consists of students reviewing information, in this case reading, and then the students are separated into 2 or more groups, then they are free to research further and "debate" against their classmates.
