there were not many problems today except for the fact that the town library was closed and also that we could not really find any books that we were looking for but we asked someone in the library and they helped us find the type of books we wanted. 
i did not really learn any new research skills as i have done a lot of research for previous projects. 
the diary log workshop really helped me i really only made my diary logs descriptive but i used the questions and it has made my diary logs more analytic and evaluative. my diary logs are also a lot longer.

This consisted of me and my group doing multiple research techniques to gather some primary research. We started by going over to the town centre to create some vox pops. We got three people to do the vox pop so it was quite successful. We then came back to the college and got a focus group together. We used some of the second years for the focus group, it was really good because they gave us a lot of information and they had a lot of opinions. Then we sated in the college to conduct some one to one interviews we only got two people for this but it was also really good especially the first interview because she again gave us a lot of information and opinions. These activities really helped as it allowed me to broaden my horizons with the different research techniques and this time our vox pops went surprisingly well since last time no one wanted to stop and talk to us. There were not any problems today except for maybe people not wanting to talk to us but we solved that by just going to ask another person. I did not do any new research techniques but I definitely developed my skills in all three techniques and probably got a tiny bit more confident with talking to people and asking if they could help us with the questions. We also started giving out the different pre production papers equally so that everyone knows what pre production papers they need to do. The minute meetings presentation really helped because I did not really know what to do for them but after that presentation I know the meetings will be done properly with all the right information. I learnt a lot more about the minute meetings and definitely improved on them although my producer will mostly be doing them but I now have more information for projects to come. We used the motion room and Rebecca took a camera home the night before to get some interviews from her family. 
We had quite a major problem today because our other actor cancelled on us, on the day that we were starting filming. This threw us off track quite a lot since he said he could definitely do it. This made us change some of our idea. So instead we decided to do a campaign advert or trailer type video. We decided to film some facts and edit some pictures into the background to back up our facts. We want to show awareness to gender equality and continue to have the idea of how it has changed and developed up into 2016. We then started to edit some of the footage and look for some pictures for the background.
