1. For me, the mulberry in the eight tales of lovers represents the love of Pyramus and Thisbe. Because of their deep affection towards each other, they we're willing to sacrifice things in order for them to achieve their happiness. Since their families really hate each other and does not want them to be together, they still valued their love.

2. Phaethon was Helios' son whose work is to ride on his golden chariot everyday. Saddened by his father's absence, Phaethon asked Helios if he could return home. Helios could not do what his son asked. Instead, he told him that he'll grant his wish. Phaethon wished that he wanted to ride the chariot. Aware of the danger that his son wished, Helios could not take back his words so he granted Phaethon's wish and adviced him to not ride the golden chariot too low or too high.

Since Phaethon was not capable of controlling the four fiery horses, the chariot went too low towards the Earth that caused the rivers and lakes to boil, fields were caught on fire and developed deserts. Phaethon then tried to pull the horses higher, the chariot went too high and the Earth began to freeze. Mother earth requested to kill phaeton so that they could control the damages that he caused. Zeus saw what happened from Mt. Olympus and struck Phaethon with the thunderbolt. It hit his head and died.

In greek mythology the "Eight tales of lovers" a tragic story, that some of characters commit suicides, some disappeared from their lovers. It revealed Greek perceptions about love, and possibly mean that the Greek do not believe in true love. It was properly detailed according to the final setting of the story wherein under the Mulberry Tree. Thisbe was the one who first reach the where she and Pyramus shall meet for their escape. Thisbe was in horror as she saw a lioness and she ran away as her cloak left and the lioness torn the cloak, upon the time Pyramus that Pyramus saw the torn bloody cloak he thought that Thisbe was dead so he stab himself with his own knife under the mulberry tree. Afterwards, Thisbe saw the severely wounded Pyramus then Thisbe grabs the knife that Pyramus used to stab himself, Thisbe killed herself too under the Mulberry tree and they died both. One day, they agreed to see each other under a snow white mulberry tree on the outskirts of town. Thisbe got first , but suddenly she saw a lion so she ran away , however the lion was able to get the coat she wore that fell on the ground the tore it to pieces . pyramus saw that coat with blood that the lion tore, so he thought that thisbe is dead then he killed himself under the mulberry tree. thisbe then went back to the tree to wait for pyramus but what she saw was pyramus covered in blood .like pyramus she thought that she was the reason her lover died so she killed herself. the gods then out of pity and as symbol of the love of the two mortals turned the white mulberry to red.
