First of all, we know that the concept of green development is very famous nowadays. The concept of Green Development considers social and environmental impacts onto development. Green Development can be defined in three category which is Environmental Responsiveness, Resource Efficiency and Community & Cultural Sensitivity. Environmental Responsiveness is means that it respect the intrinsic value of the nature and it also minimizes the damage to an ecosystem. Resource Efficiency is refers as the use of less resources to conserve the energy and environment. Community and Cultural Sensitivity is recognizes the unique cultural values that each community hosts carefully considers them in real estate development.

The issues of Green development  is it can affects the way real estate developer do business which it can increase the cost and create delay. For example, additional cost for building operation and maintenance fee, interior design and construction fees. Additionally, green development has been critiqued on a residential level.
