Later after college at Harvard, he joined the Navy, where he survived a Japanese destroyer attack on his boat. Kennedy then ran against Richard Nixon and won by a small margin. During his presidency, he launch a large campaign on poverty with American citizens. He was also the first Roman Catholic president. 

While Kennedy was in office he was very progressive and strives for equal rights. His voter were devastated by his untimely death. While Kennedy was in Dallas, Texas, he was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald while he was driving down the road in his motorcade. 1. Third party candidates tend to barely reach the debate stage for many reason. Mainly being that most people either tend to be registered and have views pointing to the 2 US parties. Also, a lot of people see that third party candidates have almost no chance of winning so they don't even bother voting. 

2. I do not thunk the two party system is a good idea. People gave so many diverse and detailed political views and the two parties don't always apply to them. I tend to have both tradition Republican and Democratic views, so in-turn I identify as an Independent.

3. My view tend to lean more left than right. But my views don't really match up completely with any party, I tend to think for myself.
