In the original photo you see the kid sitting on his grandfathers lap and in my photo I’m laying down on my grandmother.To me it’s showing how special it is having grandparents around and getting to soak up all their wisdom..the things they tell you, stories they tell. Things you’ll always remember and take with you as you grow old. Gerald Cyrus’s whole portfolio on kinship tells the story of family and the importance of it. The only dramatic glasses we had were her jumbo pink ones, so I made the makeup match like in the photo. I really liked working with my sister and listening to music. It was a bit of a struggle getting the right angle for her but it worked.
