Hello, my name is Dainery Zapot. I am 20 years old and currently living in Austin. I am pursuing a degree in criminal justice with plans to transfer to a university, graduate, and eventually work for the FBI. While I live with my parents right now, I am looking forward to moving out soon to live with my boyfriend and my adorable one-year-old female pitbull.

Outside of school and work, one of my biggest passions is boxing, and I am training with the goal of competing in the Golden Gloves. Boxing is, in my opinion, the best sport for both self-defense and athleticism. I started boxing nearly two years ago, initially to support my brother who had always wanted to try it but had some doubts. I decided to take the leap for him, and since then, boxing has become something I truly enjoy. I've come a long way since my first lesson, improving from learning how to throw a proper punch to now incorporating body movement and pivots to land a perfect shot. Boxing has had a profound impact on me, offering healing in ways I didn’t expect, and I often find myself missing it when I can’t train.

It’s important to note that I’m not just doing cardio boxing – I’m learning the technical skills and engaging in sparring with others. Boxing is my main hobby, and aside from it, I don’t have many other activities I regularly pursue.

When I’m not boxing, I enjoy spending time with my dog. She’s the first pet I’ve had that I’m fully responsible for, and taking care of her has been a rewarding learning experience. We often go for walks and do training sessions together, and I wouldn’t change anything about the bond we’ve developed.
