         <description><![CDATA[<div>Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Alabama, United States.<br>Her first book, "To Kill a Mocking Bird" was published in 1960.&nbsp;It was based on an event that happened in her own town in 1936 when Lee was only 10.<br>It was immediately successful and is a classic of modern American literature.<br>"To Kill a Mocking Bird" was Harper Lee's only published book until 2015 when she published "Go Set a Watchman", a sequel to "To Kill a Mocking Bird". Lee died in 2016.</div>]]></description>

There are separate sections in public places for white and black people. <br>(White people mostly have the better seats)<br>2. Black people have to cross the street if they were walking on the same one as a white person.<br>3. A black and white person cannot marry or even be friends.<br>There are so many more and all of these rules, if broken, can be punishable by death </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As well as that, <strong>racism </strong>and <strong>prejudice </strong>are a part of everyday life!<br><br>My dad told me that racism is when someone discriminates a person because of the colour of their skin or religion.<br><br>Prejudice is when someone unfairly judges someone before knowing anything about them.<br><br>In particular, the black members of our community are treated very badly by the white people. They have made laws that keep them separate.</div>]]></description>
