If Conan's world somehow manage to develop the same technologies like Doremon's, would there still be a need for a Detective like Conan since they can just recreate the past scenery or see it themselves wihout relying on collecting leffover clues from the killers? Would people still kill each other and hope to escape crime even in the face of such technologies? Would such technologies completely eliminate murder cases? Or would criminals develop more elaborate ways to bypass the technologies itself and somehow managed to hide from being caught better?

Như Nguyệt: In Doremon, there are many gadgets that can allow a person to see the exact past occurences trhough either the Time Machine or the Past Mirror that just replay the past occurences.

If Greg also received Doraemon's gadgets, I think Greg will make even more problems, maybe Greg will use it to cheat, like when he use the magic eight ball to cheat a pop quiz. Definitely Greg would become famous at school if had Doraemon's gadgets. Even though he will not gain selfishness, but I think he will get lazier. Surely, if Greg classmates found out the gadgets, they might take it, like bullies. But Greg might also used it as an opportunity to become famous at school by helping other students who have learning difficulties using the gadgets, just like what his mother said. Doraemon may help Greg change his boring life and help him achieve his dream of becoming famous and rich. Maybe Greg will also used the gadgets to help other kids and make life at the private school smoother. Doraemon's help can also help the school teach better lessons, Greg will also used the gadgets to help his school have more things like a swimming pool or a snack bar.

If Ben were to get Doraemon’s gadgets and have complete control over them, his priorities would be clear. Knowing him and the problems in his life, Ben would likely focus on becoming popular first, impressing his classmates and the public school kids.

With the right gadgets, he could finally achieve the popularity he’s always dreamed of. But once that goal is reached, everyday responsibilities like homework would still be waiting for him. Again, Ben would turn to the gadgets—perhaps using one to handle his homework instantly, or another to solve his backpack troubles.

This easy way to just escape from his responsibilities could turn Ben into a full-blown gadget addict. On the other hand, there’s a chance he might eventually realize that life without challenges feels hollow, and that effort brings a satisfaction no gadget can replicate.

Conan is a perfect and clever boy so I think he can fix every bad thing for the school. If the other friend to disgusting or hyperactive Conan can call teacher for every way. Constant weirdness can't make Conan to find the truth because Conan has a memory card and tolerance. It can help Conan be a better detective by forcing him to think outside the box. I think Conan will think that its not pranks this is a murder because when the friends playing they be angry and kill friends.

As you know, Conan is a detective and what if he investigates what is happening in Ella Mentry School? If Conan and his team investigate here maybe they will find some things but in Ella Mentry they dont fight or kill people, they only teach and do some wacky things. They teach, play and do fun things. But sometimes, it can be dangerous and people may get killed. In one book, some of the students said that maybe the new substitute teacher was a killer on the loose. Or maybe she/he was a missing criminal? And if Conan was here, it would be easier for him to fix all the weird things.Because here not all people are clever and smart like him. Sometimes in this school, if they are too crazy or loco, they can cause a person to die. So Conan would have to investigate but like I said, people here are not smart enough to like act dumb and lie so I think he can investigate here in Ella Mentry School.

                     Content Chaplie chaplin

This video features the famous final speech from Charlie Chaplin’s 1940 film The Great Dictator. In this powerful monologue, Chaplin, playing a humble barber mistaken for a dictator, delivers a heartfelt plea for peace, unity, and humanity.

He condemns dictatorship, greed, and hatred, and instead promotes values like kindness, compassion, and freedom. He warns against the misuse of technology and power, urging people not to become machines, but to hold on to their humanity.

The speech ends with a call for hope and change, reminding us that the power lies in the hands of the people to build a better, more just world.

                           Content Doctor Who

Doctor Who: Rose is the first episode of the 2005 series reboot. It introduces Rose Tyler, a young woman from London, who encounters strange plastic mannequins that come to life. She is saved by the mysterious Doctor, who reveals an alien threat called the Nestene Consciousness aiming to invade Earth. Rose decides to join the Doctor on his adventures through time and space. This episode marks a fresh start for Doctor Who with modern storytelling and strong characters.

                          Content Prince Ea

Prince Ea’s video "I Just Sued the School System" criticizes the outdated education system. He compares it to a courtroom trial, where the school system is the defendant. He argues that education hasn't changed much in over 150 years, while technology and the world around us have evolved rapidly. He highlights that the system forces students into one-size-fits-all learning, stifling creativity and individuality. Using Albert Einstein’s famous quote about judging a fish by its ability to climb a tree, Prince Ea emphasizes the need for education reform to nurture diverse talents and creativity. The video calls for a new approach to teaching that respects each student’s unique abilities.

              Comments and reviews

1 Obama

Obama's 2004 speech is a prime example of effective political oratory: it skillfully combines personal storytelling, shared values, clear contrasts with division, and a powerful call to hope. It marked a turning point in Obama's career — not only solidifying his standing within the Democratic Party but also establishing his broad public influence.

2 Prince Ea

Prince EA, with “I Sued the School System”, delivers a powerful call to action: we need to change the education system so that it serves the students — their creativity, individuality, and full potential — rather than simply repeating an outdated, factory-like, mechanical model. His message is highly valuable, especially in a world where society and technology are evolving rapidly.

3 Hank green

Hank Green presents utilitarianism as an ethical theory based on maximizing happiness for the majority, while also highlighting debates around fairness and individual rights through vivid, clear, and engaging examples.

4 Doctor Who

The Doctor’s speech in The Zygon Inversion is a prime example of powerful and effective communication. It not only expresses the character’s personal perspective but also conveys a profound message about peace and humanity. This moment stands as one of the most memorable in Doctor Who, demonstrating the power of words to change the world.

5 Emma Waston

Emma Watson's speech at the UN was a compelling call to action that effectively communicated the importance of gender equality and the need for collective involvement. Her strategic use of language, inclusive approach, and emphasis on shared responsibility resonated with a global audience, making a significant impact on the HeForShe campaign and the broader movement for gender equality.

6 Robin Willams

The video "Experience Life – Robin Williams Motivation" is an inspiring message that calls on people to live fully, embrace every moment, and not let fear or worry stop them from experiencing life.

Robin Williams delivers this message with a sincere voice and deep emotion, combined with powerful visuals and music, awakening the audience and urging them to take action.

7 Martin luther king

Martin Luther King Jr. did not merely convey information — he inspired, provided moral direction, and awakened the conscience of an entire nation. His emotionally powerful delivery, use of repetition, vivid symbolism, and the balance between reason and heart turned this speech into a symbol of the American civil rights movement.

This speech was not just “a speech” — it was a historic call to awakening, aiming for a more just and humane society, not only for Black Americans but for all people.

8 Sawmise Gangee

Sam acknowledges that the current situation is very difficult and seems unfair, but he emphasizes that darkness is only temporary and the light will return. Great stories matter because they teach us to hold on to faith in the good, even when it seems small. Ultimately, Sam affirms that there is still good in this world, and it is worth fighting for and never giving up.

9 Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's commencement speech at New York University is a testament to her powerful ability to inspire. With a sincere communication style, the use of strong language, and vivid metaphors, she conveyed profound messages about confidence, courage, and the importance of never being ashamed to try. Her message is not only for the graduating students but also serves as a reminder to all of us about the value of continuous learning and personal growth.

10 Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah is not only a talented comedian but also someone with a profound and effective ability to communicate. Through this talk, he conveys an important message that communication is not just about speaking but also about the ability to connect and understand one another. This is a valuable lesson for anyone who wants to improve their communication skills.

Charile Chaplin:

Charlie Chaplin urges humanity to rise above greed, hate, and dictatorship, embracing liberty, compassion, and unity so that science and progress serve peace and the common good.

Doctor Who:

The Doctor warns that war only creates a cycle of endless suffering and revenge, with no true winners. He tells her to think about what comes after the fighting, pointing out that violence just repeats itself. Instead, he pleads for peace, mercy, and negotiation, saying that real strength is choosing forgiveness over destruction.

Hank Green:

He talks about how utilitarianism is the moral theory that the right action is the one that produces the greatest happiness for the greatest number.

If there is a way to bring people back from death, I strongly believe it should be accessible to everyone. Life is the most basic human right, and if science can restore it, then no one should be excluded.

First, equal access protects human rights. If resurrection exists but only the rich or powerful can afford it, society will become even more unfair. Just like vaccines or life-saving medicines, the ability to come back to life must be available to all, regardless of wealth or status.

Second, resurrection could reduce grief and preserve valuable knowledge. Families would no longer lose loved ones forever. Communities could continue benefiting from the wisdom of great leaders, scientists, or artists who died unexpectedly. Imagine if Einstein, Marie Curie, or other innovators could have been revived to continue their work.

Third, open access prevents abuse and conflict. If resurrection technology stays secret or restricted, it could lead to social unrest, black markets, or dangerous power imbalances. By making it universal, we ensure transparency and fairness.

In short, if we have the power to defeat death, it should not be a privilege. It should be a right.

If there is a way to resurrection, should it be accessible to everyone.

For this question I think agree because

Reason 1: Every human being has the right to equal access to life

If resurrection were a real technology or method, limiting it to only certain groups (the wealthy or powerful) would be a violation of human rights.

Example: In a future society, if only the rich can be resurrected, the gap between rich and poor would not only be economic but also biological injustice — the poor die once, while the rich get to live forever.

Reason 2: Resurrection can correct mistakes or unjust deaths

Many people die due to accidents, wars, diseases, or wrongful convictions.

I agree that if resurrection is possible, it should be accessible for everyone. Life is the most valuable thing we have, and every person’s life is equal. If only the rich or powerful could use resurrection, the world would become unfair and divided. Some people would have endless chances to live, while others would be gone forever just because they had less money.

Making resurrection equal for all would also bring hope and comfort. It is what has happened, what is happening, or the authentic nature of a thing, event, or concept. However, in philosophy, ethics, and daily life, the definition and perception of truth are immensely diverse, ranging from objective truth, subjective truth, to absolute truth."

Answer the 5 question

1 How important is the truth?

Truth is of fundamental and essential importance to both individuals and society."

Example · Building Trust (Xây dựng niềm tin): Truth is the foundation for trust and relationships between people. Without truth, there can be no trust, and an effectively functioning society cannot be maintained.

Decision-Making (Ra quyết định): We need the truth (accurate information) to make rational decisions, from personal matters (where to invest, whom to trust) to social decisions (creating policy, laws).

Ethics and Justice (Đạo đức và công lý): Truth is a core element in the legal system and social justice. Justice can only be executed when the truth is brought to light.

Knowledge and Progress (Kiến thức và tiến bộ): Science, medicine, and all forms of intellectual progress are based on seeking, verifying, and accepting the truth

2 What are some cases that truth can hurt people?

Truth, although being the nature of reality, can sometimes bring pain, psychological harm, or even danger:

Example Serious Medical Diagnosis: Knowing the truth about a life-threatening illness can cause shock, depression, and despair for the patient and their family.

Truth in Relationships: Discovering betrayal or deception in love, marriage, or friendship can destroy trust and cause deep suffering.

Cruel Truths: When a person has to face an unchangeable truth about a tragedy (e.g., the sudden death of a loved one) or a painful past (e.g., the truth about their origins or family), this can cause psychological trauma.

State or Personal Secrets: Publicly disclosing a sensitive truth can endanger the life, career, or security of an individual or a group. (Example: The truth about secret government operations or the private life of a celebrity)."

3 Can truth prevent freedom ?

"If 'freedom' means irresponsibility or living in delusion: Yes, the truth will prevent that. The truth about the consequences of actions (cause and effect) or the truth about one's limitations will restrict the 'freedom' to do anything without accountability. Example: The truth that if I break the law I will be penalized prevents me from being 'free' to steal

If 'freedom' means liberation and autonomy: No, the truth does not prevent it; rather, it paves the way for it. Philosophers often say, 'The truth shall set you free.'

Cognitive Freedom: Only by knowing the truth about the world can you make informed, sound choices, instead of acting based on fear, ignorance, or deception.

Freedom from Deception: The truth helps you escape the manipulation and control of others."

4 What are the cases where you have to give up truth for fairness?

"Typically, truth and fairness (justice) go hand-in-hand: fairness must be based on truth. However, in certain specific situations, the pursuit of absolute truth can conflict with the principle of humanity or procedural justice."

Example "Exclusionary Rule (Legal): In legal systems, if evidence is factual (e.g., a confession) but was obtained illegally (e.g., through torture), that evidence can be excluded to protect the defendant's basic rights. In this case, the system gives up a 'hard' truth (the confession) to protect procedural justice (the right to legal treatment).

'White Lies' for Compassion: Sometimes, a truth can cause great harm without yielding any benefit, while a small 'lie' protects a person's emotions or dignity. Example: Telling a dying person they look well so they can pass away peacefully. This is a sacrifice of truth to achieve a kind of emotional or humanitarian 'fairness.'

Protecting the Vulnerable (Social Justice): Occasionally, the truth about a person (e.g., a minor past mistake) might be concealed or downplayed in a social context to ensure they have a fair chance to reintegrate and are not destroyed by social prejudice."

5 How can truth make a person happy?

While confronting the truth can sometimes be painful at first, in the long run, living with and speaking the truth provides a solid foundation for genuine happiness and peace of mind."

Example 1. Brings Peace and Reduces Stress

in truth (without the need to hide, lie, or fabricate things) significantly helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Maintaining a secret or upholding a lie requires energy and creates enormous psychological pressure, which increases stress hormones. When you are honest with yourself and others, you feel comfortable, relieved, and at peace from within, no longer fearing exposure."

2. Builds Integrity and Self-Worth

Truth helps you build an upright and whole character (integrity). When your words, thoughts, and actions are consistent, you feel greater self-respect and self-confidence. Living in alignment with your True Self, without having to pretend to be someone else, is one of the most crucial elements for long-lasting happiness.

3. Strengthens Quality Relationships

Trust is the foundation of every healthy relationship (friends, family, romantic partners). When you are a reliable and honest person, you attract relationships that are genuine and deep. These relationships provide emotional support and a sense of authentic connection, making them an essential source of happiness.

4. Paves the Way for Healing and Personal Growth

Facing the truth (no matter how difficult) is the essential first step toward healing a wound, a problem, or a mistake. Only with a clear awareness of reality (including your own flaws) can you begin the process of change and development. This growth and improvement is, in itself, the source of happiness and fulfillment.

Hello everyone! My name is Bill, and today I’m going to talk about the topic Truth. The first question is “How important is the truth?” Truth is very important because it helps people build trust, honesty, and strong relationships. When we tell the truth, others can believe us and make the right decisions. The second question is “What are some cases that truth can hurt people?” Truth can sometimes hurt when it is painful to hear. For example, telling a friend that they failed a test or made a mistake can make them feel sad or embarrassed. Even though the truth can hurt, it helps people learn and improve. The third question is “Can truth prevent freedom?” Yes, sometimes truth can prevent freedom. For instance, if a person admits to doing something illegal, they may lose their freedom, or in some countries, people can be punished for telling the truth about their government. However, in the long run, truth brings freedom because it helps create justice and fairness. The fourth question is “What are the cases where you have to give up truth for fairness?” There are situations where people give up the truth to protect fairness or kindness. For example, parents might tell small lies to protect their children’s feelings, and teachers might avoid comparing students to keep everyone motivated. The fifth question is “How can truth make a person happy?” Truth can make a person happy because it brings peace of mind, confidence, and self-respect. When we live honestly, we don’t have to hide anything, and our relationships become stronger and more meaningful. In conclusion, truth may sometimes hurt or limit freedom, but it is one of the most important values in life. It helps us build trust, protect fairness, and find real happiness. Thank you for listening!0

That’s a really good question — because even though truth is important, it can sometimes hurt people when it’s revealed or used carelessly. Here are some common cases where truth can cause pain:

💔 1. Personal truths that hurt feelings

When someone tells a harsh or insensitive truth — for example:

Telling a friend they look bad or failed badly.

Revealing a painful secret about someone’s past.
Even if it’s true, it can hurt their self-esteem or damage the friendship.

🕵️ 2. Truths that expose betrayal

Learning the truth about betrayal — such as cheating, lies, or dishonesty — can deeply wound people emotionally.

Example: A person finding out their partner was unfaithful or their friend was pretending to care.

⚖️ 3. Harsh truths in justice or history

Sometimes truth about past actions (like war crimes, corruption, or family secrets) can shock or divide people.

Example: Discovering a hero in history committed crimes; this truth is painful but necessary for justice.

🏥 4. Medical or life truths

Hearing the truth about a serious illness, disability, or death can cause grief and fear.

Example: A doctor telling a patient that their disease is incurable.

💼 5. Workplace or social truths

Telling the truth about someone’s poor performance, mistakes, or weaknesses can hurt their reputation or career — even if it’s true.

🧠 6. Self-truths

Sometimes the hardest truths are the ones we face about ourselves — our flaws, regrets, or failures. Accepting them can hurt, but it’s the first step toward growth.

How important is truth

Truth is extremely important — both for individuals and for society — because it forms the foundation of trust, justice, knowledge, and progress. Here are some key reasons why:

🌱 1. Truth builds trust

Without truth, relationships—whether personal, social, or political—cannot last.
If people or governments lie, trust breaks down, and cooperation becomes impossible.

Example: In science, medicine, or business, truth and honesty are essential so people can rely on results, laws, and agreements.

⚖️ 2. Truth supports justice

Fair decisions depend on knowing what really happened.
If truth is hidden or distorted, justice becomes impossible.

Example: In court, finding the truth about a crime is the only way to deliver fair punishment or protect the innocent.

💡 3. Truth enables learning and progress

Every field of knowledge—science, history, philosophy—depends on truth.
If we accept falsehoods, progress stops, and mistakes repeat.

Example: Medical research must be true and accurate; otherwise, lives can be lost.

❤️ 4. Truth gives life meaning and integrity

Living truthfully means being authentic and honest about who you are.
People who ignore truth may gain comfort or power temporarily—but they lose integrity.

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” — John 8:32

⚠️ 5. Truth can be difficult—but necessary

Sometimes truth hurts or challenges beliefs.
Yet facing uncomfortable truths is what allows people and societies to grow stronger.

Can truth prevent freedom

👑 1. Truth exposes corruption

When people learn the truth about a dishonest or cruel ruler, they may rebel.

Example: In history, many empires collapsed when the truth about their leaders’ greed or cruelty became known — like when the truth about the French monarchy’s luxury led to the French Revolution.

⚖️ 2. Truth breaks fear and control

Some kingdoms keep power by spreading lies and controlling information.
When the truth comes out, people stop being afraid and start demanding freedom.

Example: The truth about government lies or propaganda has caused revolutions and reforms in many countries.

🧠 3. Truth prevents blind loyalty

When citizens know the truth, they think critically instead of obeying blindly.
That can weaken a ruler’s absolute power — but it also creates a stronger, fairer society in the long run.

💔 4. But truth can also cause chaos

If the truth is revealed suddenly or without wisdom, it can destroy trust and unity too quickly.

Example: A shocking truth about a leader or religion can make people lose faith and stability.

💡 Conclusion

Truth can prevent or destroy a kingdom built on lies, but it can also save and protect a kingdom that values honesty, justice, and wisdom.
So truth is powerful — it can either break or build a kingdom, depending on how it’s used.

How Important Is the Truth?

Truth is very important.
It helps people trust each other, solve problems, and live honest lives.
Without truth, things fall apart — friendships, families, even whole societies.

But telling the truth isn’t always easy.
Sometimes, the truth can hurt.
Sometimes, it can even make life harder in the short term.

Still — truth is what helps us grow, heal, and be real with each other.

🔵 When Can Truth Hurt People?

Truth can hurt in many situations. For example:

1. In Relationships

If someone cheats or lies, the truth can break a heart.

2. Family Secrets

Finding out you're adopted or that your parents lied about something big.

3. Health Problems

Hearing you or someone you love is very sick.

4. Painful Past Events

Learning bad things happened in your country or family history.

Even if it hurts, the truth can help people understand and eventually heal.

🟣 Can Truth Take Away Freedom?

Sometimes, yes — at least at first.

1. Social Problems

If you tell the truth and others don’t like it, you might lose friends or be judged.

2. Political or Legal Trouble

In some countries, telling the truth can get people arrested (like reporters or whistleblowers).

3. Personal Truths

Admitting something hard about yourself (like a mental health issue or identity) might feel scary, or limit what others expect from you.

So yes — truth can feel like it takes away freedom.
But in the long run, truth usually leads to real freedom — the kind that comes from being honest and living as your true self.

p.s: Sorry for submitting late!
what are the cases where you have to give up truth for fairness

There are moments when truth and fairness conflict, and sometimes, to protect fairness, people choose not to tell or reveal the full truth. Here are some important examples 👇

⚖️ 1. Protecting someone from unfair harm

Sometimes telling the truth could cause unfair suffering to an innocent person.

Example: A teacher knows a student made a small mistake but doesn’t report it because revealing it would destroy the student’s future unfairly compared to the mistake’s size.
→ The teacher gives up full truth for fairness and compassion.

💬 2. When truth causes unequal treatment

If truth is used in a way that increases inequality, silence may protect fairness.

Example: Revealing someone’s poor background or personal secret might be true, but it could lead others to judge them unfairly.

🧠 3. In legal systems (protecting privacy or safety)

Sometimes courts keep certain truths confidential to ensure fairness in judgment.

Example: Protecting the identity of a witness or a victim.
The truth of who they are is hidden, but fairness (justice and safety) is protected.

❤️ 4. When truth causes unnecessary pain

There are times when telling the truth brings no benefit, only harm — so silence or a “softened” truth may be fairer.

Example: A doctor might give hope to a dying patient rather than reveal the harsh truth all at once.

🕊️ 5. In diplomacy or peacebuilding

Sometimes revealing the full truth about past actions or mistakes could restart conflict.
Leaders may choose forgiveness or compromise — giving up full truth to achieve peace and fairness for the future.

yes, truth can make a person happy, but not always immediately. Real happiness from truth often comes after understanding, acceptance, or healing. Let’s look at how:

🌞 1. Truth gives peace of mind

When you live honestly — with yourself and others — you don’t have to hide or pretend.

You feel free, confident, and peaceful because your life is real, not a lie.
→ Example: Admitting a mistake or a secret can bring relief and emotional freedom.

💡 2. Truth helps you understand yourself

Knowing who you really are — your strengths, weaknesses, and values — is the start of true happiness.

When you face the truth about yourself, you can grow and make better choices.

🤝 3. Truth builds trust and strong relationships

Honesty brings deeper, more meaningful connections.

Friends or partners who are truthful with each other feel safer and happier together.

🌱 4. Truth can hurt first, but heal later

Sometimes the truth is painful — but it helps people heal, change, or find real happiness.

Example: Learning a hard truth about someone’s betrayal hurts, but it frees you to move on and find peace.

⚖️ 5. Truth prevents guilt and regret

Living in lies causes stress and fear of being exposed.
Telling the truth may be hard, but it removes guilt and allows real joy to grow.

1) Protecting the environment is a vital responsibility that everyone shares. Our planet provides us with clean air, fresh water, and beautiful places to live, so we must take good care of it. We can start by reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling items such as paper and plastic. Planting trees is another great way to protect nature because trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. By saving electricity and water, we help keep the Earth healthy and full of life. Even small actions—like picking up litter or choosing eco-friendly products—can make a big difference. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world for all living beings.

2) Sentence 1 high melody: I emphasize protecting, we, planting trees, by saving, together

Sentence 2 low melody: I emphasize shares, waste, plastic, difference, life, living beings

Artificial intelligence can analyze large amounts of data to predict climate patterns, monitor pollution, and detect deforestation more quickly and accurately than humans. It also helps industries become more energy-efficient by optimizing production processes, reducing waste, and cutting down on carbon emissions. For example, AI systems can manage smart grids to balance electricity use and reduce energy loss. In agriculture, AI can suggest the best time to plant and water crops, saving both water and resources. By supporting cleaner technologies and improving environmental management, AI plays an important role in building a greener and more sustainable future for the planet.

That is a very important and timely question. While Artificial Intelligence (AI) has immense potential to help with climate change and eco-friendly initiatives, there are significant environmental and ethical reasons why its use should be viewed with caution and restraint, and why it can sometimes be contradictory to eco-friendly goals.

Here are the main arguments for why AI should not be used without careful consideration regarding its environmental impact:

⚡️ Energy Consumption and Carbon Footprint

Massive Electricity Demand: Training and deploying large, complex AI models (especially Generative AI like GPT-4) requires enormous amounts of computational power, housed in data centers. This translates to substantial electricity consumption.

The electricity consumption of data centers globally is rising sharply, and in many regions, this power still comes from fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas), leading to increased $\text{CO}_2$ emissions.

Some estimates suggest that a single $\text{ChatGPT}$ query can consume several times more electricity than a standard web search.

Rapid Growth Outpacing Efficiency: While computing hardware is becoming more energy-efficient, the sheer exponential growth in the size and complexity of AI models, and the demand for their use, is outpacing those efficiency gains.

💧 Water Usage for Cooling

Thirsty Data Centers: Data centers require a tremendous amount of water for cooling their equipment to prevent overheating. This water is often sourced from local municipal supplies.

This high water demand can strain water resources in the communities where data centers are built, potentially affecting local ecosystems and exacerbating water scarcity issues, which is fundamentally un-eco-friendly.

🗑️ E-Waste and Resource Extraction

Hardware Demand: The boom in AI necessitates the constant manufacture, upgrade, and replacement of high-performance computing hardware (like GPUs).

Resource Intensity: The production of this hardware requires the mining of critical minerals and rare earth elements, often extracted in environmentally destructive ways.

Electronic Waste: The rapid turnover of equipment contributes to the growing problem of electronic waste ($\text{e-waste}$), which frequently contains hazardous substances.

🎯 Risk of Misguided or Over-Engineered Solutions

Over-Engineering: AI solutions can sometimes be over-engineered or unnecessarily complex for environmental problems that already have simpler, more established solutions. It can become a "hammer looking for a nail."

Focus on Symptoms, Not Root Causes: There's a risk of focusing on using AI to optimize current, unsustainable systems (e.g., maximizing the efficiency of fossil fuel extraction) rather than tackling the root causes of climate change (e.g., transitioning away from fossil fuels entirely).

Protecting the environment is a vital responsibility that everyone shares. Our planet provides us with clean air, fresh water, and beautiful places to live such as forest, beaches or peaceful fields, so we must take good care of it. We can start by reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling items such as paper, plastic or contaminated water. One example of this is instead of throwing the plastic water bottles away, people can reuse the for other purposes like using as containers for growing flowers or doing craft. Another activity is people should donate their old clothes to charity organizations. Beside the 3R campaign, planting trees is another great way to protect nature because trees absorb carbon dioxide, release oxygen, provide animals with hiding spots and prevent soil erosion. Last but not least, by saving electricity, water or woods, we help keep the Earth healthy, greener and full of life. Saving electricity or water is just very simple and I believe everybody can do it. People just turn off lights or the taps when they don’t use them. Even small actions—like picking up litter, stop cutting down trees, recycling contaminated stuff or choosing eco-friendly products—can make a big difference. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world for all living beings.

While AI is often praised for its innovation and efficiency, behind the screens, it hides a serious problem: it’s not eco-friendly.

Training and running large AI models require massive amounts of energy. Data centers that power these systems run 24 hours a day, consuming as much electricity as some small countries. For example, training one advanced AI model can emit as much carbon dioxide as five cars over their entire lifetimes.

Most of this energy still comes from fossil fuels, meaning every AI query, image, or chatbot conversation adds to the growing problem of carbon emissions. As AI becomes more popular, in schools, businesses, and entertainment, its carbon footprint grows even faster.

Some argue that AI can help fight climate change. But we must ask: is it worth using a tool that harms the planet to try to save it? Before expanding AI use, we should first make sure it’s powered by clean, renewable energy and used only where it truly makes a positive difference.

If we keep ignoring its environmental cost, the convenience AI brings today could become the pollution problem of tomorrow.

So let’s think twice before relying on AI for everything because protecting the planet should always come before powering a machine.

Essay 1 – Agree: Life is about being happy

Many people believe that the main purpose of life is to find true happiness, and I completely agree with that idea. I believe that life is about being happy because it can motivate people to achieve their dreams. When you are happy, your mind is calm, which allows you to work more easily and make better decisions. Moreover, if people feel happy, they will be healthier, more friendly, and treat others with the same kindness.

However, there are other things we also need to care about, such as studying hard, earning money, and taking care of others even when we’re tired. Although happiness may not come immediately, it will last in the long term and make our lives truly meaningful.

In short, happiness is what gives life its value and makes every effort worth it.

Essay 2 – Disagree: Life is about being happy

While happiness is important, I believe that life has deeper meanings beyond just being happy. I don’t think that life is about being happy. There are still other things we need to care about, such as responsibility, kindness, and personal growth. If people only focus on happiness, the world may become selfish and unfair. For example, parents sometimes have to sacrifice their own happiness for their children. Even though it’s not always joyful, it’s still meaningful and full of love.

Still, I agree that happiness plays an important role in everyone’s life. We all deserve to be happy, but life is not just about chasing happiness — it’s also about learning, giving, and caring for others.

To sum up, happiness matters, but it’s not the only thing that makes life valuable.

1 Agree

💡 Happiness as the Ultimate Goal

From a philosophical standpoint, we can agree because for many, happiness (or eudaimonia, meaning "flourishing") is considered the ultimate or highest good.

Aristotle's View: The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle argued that the ultimate aim of human action is eudaimonia—often translated as a life well-lived or flourishing. He believed this was achieved through living a virtuous life and realizing one's full potential, which inherently leads to the deepest, most sustained form of "happiness."

Utilitarianism: Philosophies like utilitarianism are based on the principle of maximizing overall happiness and minimizing suffering. This perspective directly centers happiness as the core metric for a meaningful and moral life.

🧠 Psychological and Biological Agreement

Modern psychology and biology also support happiness as central to human life.

Motivation and Drive: Much of human behavior is driven by a desire to seek pleasure and avoid pain. Biologically, happiness (fueled by neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin) serves as a powerful positive reinforcement mechanism, encouraging us to repeat behaviors that support survival and well-being.

Mental Well-being: Psychologically, happiness is a core component of mental health. A life lived in a state of relative happiness, contentment, and satisfaction is a life characterized by better resilience, stronger relationships, and greater overall productivity and creativity.

✨ Happiness as an Active State of Being

The phrasing "life is being happy" emphasizes that happiness isn't just a fleeting emotion or a goal to reach, but an active state of existence or a journey.

It's a Practice, Not a Destination: We can agree that life is about being happy by recognizing that it's a daily practice of:

Mindfulness: Appreciating the present moment.

Gratitude: Focusing on what one has rather than what one lacks.

Meaning: Engaging in activities that provide purpose and contribute to something larger than oneself.

2 Rebuttal

🧐 Rebuttals to "Life is Being Happy"

1. The Argument from Emotional Spectrum

The rebuttal here is that life inherently includes a full range of emotions, and focusing only on happiness is unrealistic and dismissive of other necessary experiences.

· The Rebuttal: "Life is not just being happy; life is being fully human. It encompasses a wide spectrum of emotions, including sadness, frustration, fear, and grief. These challenging emotions are essential for growth, empathy, and appreciating moments of joy. If you were happy all the time, happiness would lose its meaning."

· Key Concept: Emotional realism and depth.

2. The Argument from Meaning and Purpose

This perspective suggests that a meaningful life is often more about contribution, challenge, and purpose than a constant state of contentment.

· The Rebuttal: "Happiness can be a result of a life well-lived, but it isn't the definition of life itself. Many deeply meaningful aspects of life—like raising a child, building a business, or advocating for change—involve long periods of struggle, sacrifice, and discomfort. A life defined by purpose, challenge, and contribution is often richer than one defined solely by constant, passive contentment."

· Key Concept: Eudaimonia (flourishing) vs. Hedonia (pleasure/happiness).

3. The Argument from Biological Function/Definition

This takes a more literal, philosophical, or scientific approach to defining life.

· The Rebuttal: "From a fundamental perspective, 'life' is a biological process involving growth, metabolism, response to stimuli, and reproduction. Happiness is a subjective, psychological state. While a wonderful aspect of the human experience, it is not a prerequisite or a definition of existence."

· Key Concept: Defining life literally.

4. The Argument from Impermanence (The Stoic/Buddhist View)

This view challenges the sustainability and reality of constant happiness.

· The Rebuttal: "Happiness is inherently fleeting and temporary. Life, by its nature, involves constant change, loss, and cycles of difficulty. If life was being happy, then every moment of inevitable suffering or boredom would mean you have 'failed' at life, which is a fundamentally flawed and unattainable standard."

· Key Concept: Acceptance of suffering and change.

🎯 A Strong, Concise Counter-Sentence:

If you need a single punchy line, try:

"Life is not a pursuit of constant happiness; it is an engagement with reality."

I strongly agree that life is about being happy. Happiness is what gives life meaning and makes our experiences worthwhile. Without happiness, achievements, money, or success would feel empty. People who are happy are usually healthier, have stronger immune systems, and live longer. Happiness motivates us to take care of ourselves. When we are happy, we are more positive, kind, and understanding, which helps build strong bonds with family, friends, and community. Happy people are more creative and motivated, which helps them achieve their goals and enjoy life more. Some people may say life is about achieving success, wealth, or power rather than happiness. While success is important, without happiness, these achievements feel meaningless. True fulfillment comes from feeling joyful and content. In conclusion, happiness is the essence of life. We should focus on finding joy in everyday moments, nurturing our relationships, and appreciating what we have. Life is truly about being happy.

I disagree with the statement that life is about being happy. Life is complex, and there are many other important values, such as responsibility, learning, and helping others. Happiness is not always possible or realistic to make the main goal. Challenges and hardships teach us lessons and help us become stronger and wiser. Without difficulties, we cannot develop resilience or wisdom. We have duties to our family, society, and environment. Sometimes we must sacrifice personal happiness to help others or do the right thing. Contributing to the world and helping others can give life meaning, even if it does not always make us happy. Some may argue that happiness is the most important thing in life, and everything else is secondary. While happiness is valuable, focusing only on it can make life shallow and selfish. True fulfillment comes from responsibility, growth, and contribution, not just pleasure. In conclusion, life is not just about being happy. It is about learning, growing, and making a positive difference. Happiness is important, but it should not be the only goal.

I agree with the idea that "people who suffer the hardest can shine the most" for several reasons.

First, going through hardships helps people develop resilience. For example, athletes who face injuries often build the mental strength to recover and push through pain. They learn how to rise again instead of giving up. Similarly, individuals who go through personal struggles, like the loss of a loved one, often become stronger and more determined in the long run.

Second, such experiences deepen their understanding and empathy. For instance, people who have struggled with financial hardship often become more compassionate toward others in similar situations. They know firsthand how difficult it can be, which makes them kinder and more supportive of others. This empathy allows them to connect with others on a deeper level.

Lastly, overcoming difficulties helps them truly appreciate the value of success. Take entrepreneurs, for example. Many successful business owners have faced multiple failures before achieving success. After overcoming those challenges, each success becomes even more meaningful to them. They don’t take opportunities for granted and are often willing to work harder than others, knowing the effort it takes to succeed.

Inconclusion, I agree with the statement " People who suffer the hardest can shine the most".

Hope is fundamentally the belief that your future will be better than your present and that you have the ability to make it happen. According to positive psychology, it involves three main parts:

Goals: Having clear, desirable objectives.

Agency (Willpower): The motivation and belief in one's capacity to meet the goals.

Pathways: The ability to generate specific routes and alternative strategies to achieve those goals.

Key Reasons Hope is Essential for Work

Hope directly impacts several critical areas of professional life, making it a necessity for both individual success and organizational health.

1. Motivation and Engagement

Hope is the primary fuel for motivation. When employees feel hopeful about their future within the organization—seeing a clear, positive path for their career and believing their work matters—they are more likely to be engaged and approach their tasks with enthusiasm. Without hope, motivation sags, leading to disengagement and a feeling of just "going through the motions."

2. Resilience and Persistence

Work is inevitably filled with setbacks, challenges, and obstacles. Hope is a powerful buffer that allows individuals to navigate these difficult times.

Resilient employees view problems not as dead ends but as opportunities for learning and growth.

A hopeful person believes that even if their initial plan (Pathway A) fails, they have the ability (Agency) to find a new solution (Pathway B or C) to still reach their goal. This persistence is vital for overcoming adversity and seeing projects through to completion.

3. Innovation and Creativity

High-hope individuals are more likely to be innovative. This is because they:

Are less afraid of failure, as they believe a better outcome is still possible.

Are more inclined to explore multiple "pathways" or solutions, which fosters creative problem-solving.

Are willing to take calculated risks on new ideas, knowing that even if one attempt doesn't work out, it won't derail their overall future success.

4. Psychological Well-being

Hope is strongly correlated with positive psychological well-being. It acts as a shield against the negative effects of stress and anxiety in the workplace. Employees with a strong sense of hope:

Experience lower levels of burnout.

Have a greater sense of purpose and meaning in their daily tasks.

Are generally happier and healthier, leading to reduced absenteeism and improved focus.

A company culture fostered by hopeful leaders who provide a clear vision and genuine support helps ensure employees feel valued, safe, and optimistic about their future, which ultimately drives better performance and loyalty.

I believe that hope is necessary for work because in our lives, we face many obstacles, and without hope, people would easily give up. Hope gives us the strength to keep going even when things get tough.

First of all, hope fuels motivation. It gives people a clear reason to start something and to continue working hard. For example, office workers who believe their effort can lead to a promotion are usually more motivated to finish their tasks, take initiative, and look for ways to improve their performance. This sense of hope pushes them to work more proactively.

Secondly, hope can reduce stress. When people feel hopeful, they tend to be more confident about achieving their goals. Take employees as an example—when they believe they can solve a problem, they stay calmer and think more clearly instead of panicking. As a result, they can handle challenges more effectively and maintain a better work attitude.

Finally, hope helps people build resilience. It makes them more determined when facing difficulties. For instance, football players who experience failure often come back even stronger. Their hope of improving encourages them to practice nonstop, no matter the time, weather, or pressure. This shows how hope can turn setbacks into motivation.

In conclusion, I completely agree that hope is necessary for work. It motivates us, reduces our stress, and strengthens our resilience, helping us stay committed even when the journey is not easy.

Patience is often praised as a virtue, but in reality it can easily become a mask for laziness. People frequently claim they are “waiting for the right time” when they are simply avoiding effort or responsibility. This kind of patience is not strength—it is procrastination disguised as wisdom.

True progress requires initiative. A student who delays studying because “success takes time” is not patient but idle. A worker who postpones action under the pretense of patience risks stagnation. Patience without effort is nothing more than inaction, and inaction is the essence of laziness.

By glorifying patience, society risks encouraging passivity. Waiting endlessly for opportunities instead of creating them wastes potential. In this sense, patience often serves as a socially acceptable excuse for laziness, allowing people to avoid responsibility while appearing virtuous.

Patience and laziness are not the same. Laziness means doing nothing because you don’t want to work. Patience means waiting calmly while still working toward your goal.

For example, a farmer plants seeds and then waits for them to grow. That is patience. A lazy farmer never plants at all. Patience is about effort plus time, while laziness is about avoiding effort.

Patience also helps people make better choices. Rushing often leads to mistakes, but patience gives time to think and prepare. Many cultures see patience as a strength, not a weakness.

So patience is not an excuse for laziness. It is a skill that helps people succeed.

Tuần sau mỗi bạn sẽ trình bày phần của mình và phản biện lại phần thuyết trình của các bạn khác trong lớp: Global inequality in access to resources and opportunities remains a major international challenge despite overall global development. While some countries benefit from strong economies, advanced technology, and stable institutions, others struggle with poverty, limited infrastructure, climate vulnerability, and restricted access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. These inequalities exist both between and within countries and are often worsened by global crises such as climate change, pandemics, and conflict, which disproportionately affect vulnerable populations. Although the international community has committed to reducing inequality through global frameworks and cooperation, disagreements persist over responsibility, funding, national sovereignty, and the balance between short-term aid and long-term development. Addressing these disparities is increasingly seen as essential to global stability, sustainable development, and international peace.

Global inequality remains one of the most pressing challenges of our time. While some nations thrive with advanced technology and stable institutions, others face poverty, limited infrastructure, and restricted access to basic services. Among the many solutions proposed, universal access to quality education stands out as a transformative policy that can address these disparities.

Education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for social mobility. It equips individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to participate fully in society and the economy. When children in underserved regions gain access to quality education, they are more likely to escape poverty, contribute to their communities, and promote peace and stability.

Moreover, education fosters gender equality and empowers marginalized groups. Girls who receive education are less likely to marry early, more likely to earn income, and more likely to raise healthier families. In this way, education not only benefits individuals but also strengthens entire societies.

Despite its potential, challenges remain. Funding gaps, political instability, and cultural differences can hinder progress. However, through international cooperation—such as global education funds, teacher exchange programs, and digital learning initiatives—these obstacles can be overcome.

In conclusion, universal access to quality education is not just a policy; it is a pathway to a fairer, more peaceful world. By investing in education, we invest in the future of humanity.
