<title>Yes, the lesson plans in the Weeks at a Glance (WAG) are different for the grade levels, but still follow the CCR Framework of bones, heart, muscles, and brain.</title>

<title>There are AVID standards for each grade level. The AVID curriculum is based on rigorous standards. It is driven by the WICOR method, which stands for writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading. AVID curriculum is used in AVID elective classes and in content-area classes in AVID schools. We will dive deeper into the standards for each grade level over the next few days.</title>

<title>What is the goal of an AVID class for freshmen students? What does a day to day schedule look like? Resources for lesson building? I know from talking with other AVID teachers, that they have been treating the elective class as a sort of study time/homework help time, with skill building in reading, writing, science, and math. How do we enhance those skills?</title>
