This week it is full with test. What I have learnt for this week is about algae. Algae is a plant-like protist that differ from other photosynthetic eukaryote because it lack of vascular conducting system and it has simple reproductive structure. I learn about the distribution of algae, the classification of algae and their morphology. Algae are divided into 7 phylum that is Chrysophyta, Euglenophyta, Pyrrhophyta, Charophyta and Chlorophyta that is eukaryotic algae. Phaeophyta and Rhodophyta are multicellular algae.

For this week, I also learnt about protozoa. Protozoa is a animal-like  protist and it is a motile unicellular protist. They gained their nnutrition by chemoheterothrophic that are divided into 2 types that is holozoic nutrition where it undergo phagocytosis of a solid nutrient (bacteria) and through saprozoic nutrition where it undergo pinocytosis taht diffuse soluble nutrient such as sugar. There are 3 type of locomotion of protozoa that is flagella, cilia and pseudopodia. They reproduce sexually by binary fission and asexually by conjugation. They are divided into 7 phylum that is
, Sarcomastigophora
, Labyrinthomorpha
, Apicomplexa
, Microspora
, Ascetospora
, Myxozoa
 and Ciliophora.

We also make some revision for the topic that will comes out in the test and Dr.Wan give some tips on the focus of what will comes out on the test. So, on the Friday we had the test.
