Please give an example of a time where feedback has been shared in your classroom. Explain if it was teacher to student or student to student feedback. Add an image and a short explanation describing additional needs/next steps for incorporating feedback as a daily routine in your classroom.

There was a student to student feedback where a student was solving a math problem and they had missed a step. Another student raised their hand and corrected them and they were able to fix their work. I think that it would be useful to establish some group norms around this where the students feel comfortable doing this and are doing it in a respectful way.

I have implemented giving feedback on writing using google docs comments. This has been primarily teacher to student. It has made it more manageable for me, and I feel like it is easier to grade as well. I like that students can also leave comments for me. This allows them to take responsibility for their learning.

I have a student that struggles immensely with spelling. This skill shows through in his writing (making it difficult to focus on other aspects of his writing). My feedback to him was to always read the full question and story, because most of the words he'll use in his response are in the story. He has had to erase and edit his answers multiple times. But hopefully my feedback and critiquing will help his spelling!

One example of feedback in my classroom occurs during writing time. I have students work independently and I pull them one at a time or in small groups to help them make corrections, add detail, etc. Next steps for me would be helping give my students the tools to give each other feedback so they could work together in small groups, and I could give even more attention to my intensive learners.

In my classroom, I prioritize peer feedback and teacher to student feedback for writing. I have students meet with other students who are at a similar writing level so they can improve their writing together using the success criteria checlist/rubric. I also use teacher to student feedback through comments in google classroom, as well as, one on one conferences with students.
