The tigers trust was set up by hull to help the deprived areas of the city to increase the participation in the sport but also to help the communities to give something back for example the tigers trust help with the national citizens service, speaking from experience this is a really good thing, as when I went on a 3 day get away to the lake district I did mountain walking, abseiling and kayaking. All the activities were all really good and will have a lasting effect on me, meeting up with new people from college. Tigers trust also look at free support for people who want to into the sport and hold sessions at the kc stadium for all ages and also offer opportunity's for people who have disability's for all ages. Also offer education with people who have school to go and do a course and also people who want to go into teaching, this is all based at the kc stadium home of hull city.

The hull FC foundation is the community foundation the Hull Fc have to help not only the progression of the sports teams at there city of hull academy but also run reasonably priced for the ages of 4-10 for the  junior section and for the elite performance that is aged between 12-15 this looks at the participator sector for then to develop in the performance stage. The hull fc foundation also works with different clubs at amateur level in hull so help the wheelchair rugby league team in hull to help people with disability's to get involved with the game. This looks at the beginners in the triangle or the introduction to the sport all three of the sporting examples I've used have this and help the participators move onto the next stage.
participation
This looks more at the when the sports put summer camps but this is hard to explain its hard to define what is participation cos everyone is on different levels of the participation.
performance
This looks at the improvement from the participation stage, this is a step up and will like i mention through the hull fc city of hull academy.
excellence
