Mennonites speak German, English, Spanish. Not like how Cicero as much more variety in language. The people of Nuevo Ideal also have slangs and short terms that they use to communicate. The common languages that is spoken is Spanish and English. Other languages that are spoken as well here is Polish, Hindi, Mandarin, French, and a few others.There is less languages spoken in Nuevo Ideal. In different parts of Cicero you can find many people that can speak a variety of languages, these are just a few on the list. Instead of using cars all the time, horses can be seen to be used as transportation and mennonites use wagons or carriages with horses.  Buses do not run there, they run out of the town. Almost all villagers own their own farm animals or own their own stores. Paying for the bus is pretty expansive there. Everyone dresses the same as people do in Cicero and girls do the same type of makeup look as well. People do celebrate holidays and have big street parties for special events. They also play banda music and they have very common mexican food. The food they mostly eat beans, rice, gorditas, chicharon,  tacos, meat, and all types of peppers. The ice cream is also very different to the one here. The ice cream tastes natural and it has a different look/texture. The cheese and candy is made with different ingredients and has its own touch. There are many types of foods here. There is mexican, chinese, polish, and indian food in our area. There are many fast food restaurants almost everywhere and a few family owned restaurants. In Nuevo Ideal, every restaurant is family owned and the nearest Mcdonald's is at least a good hour away. We can pay for the bus with a few bucks and with leftover change. The same goes with the train. Farm animals and such could only be found in the suburbs, where there is more landscape. A few parades and street parties are held once and a while for holidays, such as Cinco de Mayo. Many different types of music is listened in Cicero.The big part celebrations are in Chicago where almost everything is held. Many teens and adults own shoes from a well known brand like, Nikes, Adidas, Skechers, Converse, and Jordans. Cicero is a very diverse town with many religions and opinions. In Nuevo Ideal, almost everyone believe in the same religion and all know each other. In Cicero, theres is more stores and large buildings than Nuevo Ideal. It is tough due to everything being expensive to buy. Soap, a bag of oranges, detergent, house appliances, or things simply for one's self is expensive. The heat is sometimes unbearable that just walking to the nearest store is like taking a  walk in a heated oven, as so they explain it. They do not pay rent, just the bills for light, water, and etc. This might seem like an advantage to us people in Cicero, but the bills are still somewhat costly depending how frequently it is used. Not many houses have an AC or even light and many houses are already falling apart. You could describe the life somewhat like Cicero back in the day before we had any streets or many big businesses around. The streets are just sand, dirt, and rocks. They have improved the streets in small sections near the plaza and popular supermarkets. If you do not own any vehicle to move in (bike,car,truck, four wheeler, taxi, etc.) get ready for a long and bumpy walk. Their lifestyle is also simple because everything they need is in their small town. Almost everyone has their own management they run and many others own their businesses right in their home. Some home jobs they have is babysitting children or animals, knitting or sewing, cooking for customers, medicine, or even just sell the products or food they make from the eggs of milk their farm animals produce. Everyone is working or doing anything else at their own pace and everything seems calm. There are many kinds of store around like Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Ross, and many others. Cicero is a home to many spanish speakers and parades. The lifestyle of Cicero is very much different from Nuevo Ideal. It is easier in so many ways. There are grocery stores, pharmacys, and restaurants all over. Walking to buy or pick up something is not a struggle if its in Cicero. A good amount of people can drive and own a vehicles while many others  get on public transport or bikes. There are so many things to do here. Weather fluctuates from hot to cold and you never know when you are going to get all seasons in one day. Yet, people find many ways to cool off or warm up on days like these. I have seen that Cicero has a lot of homeless people than from what i've seen in Nuevo Ideal. In NI (Nuevo Ideal), there was not that many homeless people on the streets. Maybe like around 1 or 2 walking around but not as much as Cicero. Cicero has a ton of poverty. Many people stay under the bridge on Cicero Ave and many other just sleep on the streets traveling place to place looking for a home. In Cicero, I see at least 1 homeless person everyday and it's sad to see someone in that state. On the other hand, Cicero does have good streets and they are currently rebuilding some. Many citizens are able to get jobs anywhere due to everyone hiring. So not many people are making the best money they can possible make but it's enough to have a stable life. It is also a home to many animals such as: cats, dogs, chickens, pigeons, gulls, raccoons, and rabbits. Not the most exciting animals, I know.
