We chose social negotiated model and learner centered model because we feel like they both offer important life skills academically and outside of the school environment.

Social negotiated model teaches learners to learn via collaboration and prepares them fir future work environments by equipping them with important social skills. It is important to not use it a lot because the learners might be too dependent on their peers and unable to work alone in future.
We chose learner centered model because it is an essential model for the type of students the SA curriculum aims to produce and it will also ensure that learners are critical thinkers and that they are able to construct knowledge on thier own and make meaningful connections. It is important to not use it too much as it will result in anti social learners.

We found all the models to be appropriate and the only differing factor is when they will be implemented.
Mastery is very appropriate for when the teacher needs to facilitate knowledge to the learners. Learners can't see photosynthesis so being able to write on the board and explain it to the learners will allow easier intake than asking them to discuss something they've never even witnessed with the naked eye.
Learner-centered is appropriate in order to help learners build their knowledge on something. Actively partaking in a lesson/experiment will prompt the learners to want to know more, want to note more, and want to discover more since they are not passively just sitting in a classroom.

Example:
An example would be to ask the learners to go home and ask their grandparents about certain plants that they used as antiseptics back in the day and present the research to the class the following day.
