These five applications have been important game-changers for me (and my students). Piazza is a workable portal for presenting student material, and plays well with Padlet serving as a repository for resources. 

Quizlet and Peardeck are particularly useful for review; they don't replace other forms of review  such as online simulations, white-boards and paper practice; instead they supplement.
