ARTICULO 93.- (Formalidades).- Las personas civilmente capaces que pretendan contraer matrimonio, lo manifestarán así ante el funcionario competente de la residencia de cualquiera de los contrayentes, quien recibirá bajo juramento de cada uno de ellos, legalmente identificados, declaración sobre los puntos siguientes que hará constar en acta: nombres y apellidos, edad, estado civil, vecindad, profesión u oficio, nacionalidad y origen, nombres de los padres y de los abuelos si los supieren, ausencia de parentesco entre sí que impida el matrimonio, no tener impedimento legal para contraerlo y régimen económico que adopten si no presentaren escritura de capitulaciones matrimoniales y manifestación expresa de que no están legalmente unidos de hecho con tercera persona.

2. CERTIFICACIÓN DE NACIMIENTO DE LOS CONTRAYENTES:

2.1 GUATEMALTECO: emitido por el RENAP no mayor a 1 año de haber sido extendido

2.2 EXTRANJERO: no mayor de 1 años de haber sido extendido

3. DOCUMENTOS DE IDENTIFICACIÓN DE LOS CONTRAYENTES:

Certificación de -DPI- o

Pasaporte vigente

3.2. EXTRANJERO: Pasaporte o Documento de identificación oficial de su país.
