Reject of Society, produced in 1978, allusion to Frankenstein are made when they talk about being rejected and how someone created a monster and now everyone hates that person that caused the issue.
Frankenstein, produced in 1972, named because it was pieced together in the studio piece by piece as if it was the monster itself.

This is also a film based off of the original version of the 1818 Mary Shelley's version of Frankenstein. There are quite a few differences in this film but it sticks close tot he original.
