I think the Mystery Mixture and consists of magnesium sulfate and sodium bicarbonate. Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda was powdery and tiny which explains one of the two substances. The other substance could've been the Epsom salt, Epsom salt is squarish, clear, grainy and medium sized. I think it is these two substances because of their texture, size, shape, and color/appearance.

The mixtures I think are in it are baking soda and washing soda. The reason is because washing soda bubbles up and baking soda is powdery just like the mix. The second thing we think it is is ascoribic acid and baking soda because they started to fizz and bubble. The sound was also a lot like it because you could here the little bubbles popping just like the mystery mixture. Also there was a little white circle in the middle just like in the mystery mixture. The apperances are a lot like each other because they both looked like sprite towards the end when the reaction was over with only a few bubbles.

Me and my group think that the two substances are Washing soda and baking soda because the reaction of the two when you add water is like when baking soda is introduced to a liquid acid it fizzes up, but you might think it's citric acid but citric acid is too yellowish for the mostly white powder. Why I think its washing soda is because washing soda contains acid and is the white powder substance that is like baking soda. Or it could just be baking soda and epsom salt because that is cubish and is bigger while still containing the acidic property.

Our theory for the mystery mixture is that it is sucrose, or sugar, and sodium bicarbonate, or baking soda. We think this because sugar is sort of flaky and clear, which is the description of one of the substances we found in the mixture. We think baking soda because of its powdery characteristic because the residue at the top , which was the other substance in the mixture. We also believe that it is baking soda because both vials have a residue at the top that are very similar.

The mystery mixture was crystal like and clear, like salt, but also fine and powdery, and stark white, like baking soda. When you put water on the mixture, it fizzes and bubbles. That usually happens when baking soda comes in contact with a liquid like vinegar.

The baking soda is kind of floury, which me and my group could see in the mystery mixture. I could definitely see that in the mystery mixture that there was a sign of a white floury substance. The Epsom salt is a little more stuck together, which we could also see. The Epsom salt was also more crystallized and not as white or grainy as the other salts. We think that both of the mixtures could possibly be the mystery mixture.

One falls a bit slower that the mixture and one falls slower, we think that if they are mixed together, these will balance each other out. We noticed that the mystery mixture was powdery like both of the substances. The baking soda clumped, but the washing soda didn't. The mystery mixture sticked together, but it didn't necessarily clump. This could be due to the added attributes from both of the substances. They were similar in color, and the particles looked identical to both the washing soda and the baking soda.

The the citric acid had bigger crystal looking "rocks". The baking soda was a big part of the residue that sunk to the bottom when it was done fizzing. The citric acid was what made the mixture fizz and what made the bubbles sink. Between the fizzing, the sinking, the temperature change and the color change, we decided these two substances made sense to be in the mystery mixture.

Our new hypothesis is that the two mixtures are no longer Baling Soda and sugar and now are Citric Acid and Sodium Bicarbonate. The reason I these are the two mixtures because when mixed they have pretty similar chemical reactions. They both bubble and fizz off the start. It also leaves a little residue at the beginning but then it dissolves. The only difference is that the mystery dissolves the residue a little bit faster. Our mixture also leaves a little bit of residue.
