We have been praying for our family's well-being eversince we started building one. That's how fathers are. We only want the best for our family. It has been my duty and responsiblity to ensure that there is food in the table, that my kids are going to school, and that my family's needs are provided. There are times when I struggled given that odds are not in my favor, but with the help and support of my wife, and God's mercy and grace, we were able to surpass life's adversities. Surpassing this challenges could mean looking and enjoying your children's successes. Twenty six years ago, we had our first born child. As a father, I promised to support her with all I could ever give. I acted on it. Now, I am very much happy to have helped her achieved her dream. Yes, she graduated college and earned her first degree, she also has finished her Master's Degree when she was 22 and earned her Doctor's degree at the age of 25. I could remember when she once told me "ayaw sa undang ug trabaho pa, kay muskwela sa ko." I said, whatever you think is best for you, we will always be here for you. I am the proudest when she received her Doctor's Degree diploma last year even if I was not around given the circumstance that my job as an elevator installer has given me. My second born is also enjoying her life. I could say. She graduated with a degree in tourism and is now a ship steward cruising in the local waters. Looking at my kids, with what they have now, I could say that I have been doing the right job as a father. 

I am very grateful to my employer for the opportunity of working in different places, thoughbthis would mean being away from my family. I have sacrificed days and months not being able to be with my family because of the nature of my job, but I know that this is all for them. All my sacrifices are for them. 

With the help of God, I survived and will continue to survive and be strong for my family. Being able to provide them with their needs, being able to support them in their drems, and being able to enjoy with them life's milestones is rewarding. Enjoying life and being happy ans healthy with my family is the greatest wealth. Thus, I could say, being a father is the best.

This brings joy me joy as I know he is watching and listens to my stories.

Reminds and motivates me to be the best version of myself so that one day, he would say - "I want to be like Dad"
