<title>The most common water problem in the home is water that is high in minerals, known as hard water. Hard water contains magnesium and / or calcium ions, and if these minerals build up in the pipes as the water flows through them, the pipes can become clogged, especially if there is a high concentration of calcium ions.</title>

<title>Homeowners with hard water often treat the water to soften it, which involves replacing the magnesium and calcium ions in the water with sodium ions. The result is soft water. Soft water doesn&#39;t react with soap to form a precipitate, but it doesn&#39;t taste very good either. For that reason, we say that soft water is free water dissolved in calcium and magnesium ions.</title>

<title>As rainwater falls, it is naturally soft. However, as water makes its way through the ground and into our waterways, it picks up minerals like chalk, lime and mostly calcium and magnesium and becomes hard water. Since hard water contains essential minerals, it is sometimes the preferred drinking water. Not only because of the health benefits, but also the flavor. On the other hand, soft water tastes salty and is sometimes not suitable for drinking.</title>

<title>There are no serious adverse health problems Trusted Source associated with drinking hard water. However, hard water can contribute to dry skin and hair. Washing your hair frequently with hard water can leave your scalp feeling itchy. The minerals in hard water can also change the pH balance of your skin, weakening it as a barrier against harmful bacteria and infections. People with eczema may be especially vulnerable. If you notice problems with dry skin and hair, you may want to look into a water-softening system for your home. If that isn’t possible, talk with a dermatologist about moisturizers and hair products you can use to combat the effects of hard water.</title>

<title>Consuming hard water is bad for your health, but we can solve all this using a water softener system, we can use it in the following way: it connects directly to the water supply of the network and works by passing the water through the system, removing hard water particles from the water, before releasing the softened water back into the ongoing water supply. Water softeners come in various sizes for home use to fit under the kitchen sink or cupboard and larger sizes for larger homes and commercial use.</title>
