Plastic bottles are disposed of in the yellow container for separate collection of plastics.
The plastic container is poured into the truck, which collects separately collected waste.
The truck is unloaded at a sorting site, where the plastics are sorted by type, baled and sent for recycling.
Recycling begins with grinding plastics into flakes.
On a conveyor line, the plastic flakes move to the dishwasher.
This is followed by a melting process in a melting machine (like an oven, but at a lower temperature).
The plastics come out of the melter very long, thin like spaghetti and are cut into granules.
Manufacturers of plastic products buy these granules and make new products from them.
Plastic bottles are a real plague on the planet.

Tons of bottles fall into the oceans every year ...

It is best to try to buy as little as possible and drink tap water.
