Moving to a new city with no family or friends there purley for work was a big change.  Starting a new job for both of us not knowing anyone there was a big deal especially since we have lived in our home town (or pretty close to) for around 28 years. It paid off though as we have made some great friends and learnt a great deal in our jobs there and for our own business.
