Apart from being well looked after and having my meals cooked, we have plenty of room to walk outside. My room is also very nice as the bathroom is large with many rails and my bed is low and easy to get into. But it does become very lonely, boring, and depressing - especially seeing my friends with all their medical issues. Well she actually lives in Sanborn Place. It's an area in Massachusetts where the elderly and disabled are integrated into the community and are able to live in the same home until the day they die. They can age in place. They are surrounded by a supportive community and are not isolated on the peripheries.
