My family got her when I was a couple months old. She passed away when I was 14. Needless to say, I was devastated. My childhood dog passing away was so hard. I think it had to do with the passing of multiple people and something that had happened at my public school. Those people were from my school and my best friends dad. I could not go out of the house for almost three months before I knew therapy might have been the only thing to save me. I am a different person today from it. I would not trade that for the world. We were so close throughout my entire life. It was not only my moms sister, but her very best friend. They were super tight and talked every single day. She would come and stay for a month in the summer and we made so many great memories. This lead to bringing my grandmother back into our lives. We all realized family is so important and to never take anything for granted. I would not trade this for the world. Unfortunately, my mental health got to me and I was struggling badly. I suffered bad anxiety, and ended up doing online school. This was the best decision for me at the time. And I would never take that decision back. I pushed myself through online and ended up taking 2 years of school instead of 3. Aesthetician school help me meet some of my forever friends. It was a very long process until graduation. We had class on Tuesdays and Thursdays for ten hours each day. My goal was to be able to go to a University. I wanted to get involved and have all the amazing opportunities that I missed out on, during high school. High Point University was the one school that stood out to me the most. This school was my first school I toured, and the last. I only applied to one school and it was HPU. After so many nerves, I got into High Point and I did Early Decision. It was a risk to take, but so worth it! I am super happy where I am today.
