I will set students up in groups of four. Within these groups I will assign them a type of a non-renewable energy source, and the renewable source of solar energy, in which they will conduct research and come up with a logical argument as to which energy is more ideal for the Earth.

In a power point they will present the process of both types of energy. Where does it come from, how do we get it, what process does it go through to reach our homes, and businesses, so on and so forth.

Exit ticket will be for them to answer on a sticky note why they believe that solar energy would be valuable to Arizona based off of the research that they conducted.
