She started training at Seiskaya Ballet, where she got her ballet and modern technique, following that she got a scholarship at Alvin Ailey school whilst attending the school she also trained in hip hop, pointe, jazz, tap and African American making her a very versatile dancer. Dana went on to build a great career performing with artist as big as Micheal Jackson, Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Rihanna. When she teaches classes they come under street jazz which is a fusion of street styles and modern, ballet and jazz. Her classes focus heavily on musicality, moving organically and having a connection and flow through your body.
