Electives and extracurriculars allow students to explore different topics and interests. They expose students to new things that they might end up really enjoying, which they might end up making a career out of, whether it be academic or athletic. As Sydney said in her lesson, students involved in sports often perform better in school because they are staying active and also have to organize their time.

Extracurricular activities and electives are vital in today's education because you have all of the college degrees now that don't just deal with your core subjects and topics they go off some wacky one or some fun ones, they are what help students the whole way. I know that the students I will be teaching would have already grown from previous extracurricular activities and/or electives because they are super present in today's school education and are making a big impact on future students, and it will hanged my possible teaching curriculum and I would have to challenge students more

Electives and extra curricular activities are very important in education. They create a new environment that the students haven't been exposed to before. They can be used as a tactic to figure out what the student is truly interested in and what they can do from there. They will affect my students because they will be more sure about their path in the future, which can motivate them to do well.

Extracurriculars and electives are important in today's education because it is option that allows students to choose what subjects they want to take part in and it can benefit them later on in life. I think they will effect my students positively, because their academic performance will improve when taking part in extracurricular activities an electives.

Extracurriculars and Electives are so important. They teach you things about yourself that you simply can not learn in a classroom. Sports hold you accountable, teach you teamwork, social skills, and give you the benefits of getting involved and finding an identity. Electives give you the opportunity to find your passion. I found my passion through 2 electives at HCHS.
As a teacher I know the benefits so I will encourage my students to get involved.

They teach us things that we don't learn in a normal classroom. Such as leadership and teamwork. Electives can help you find a passion and something you love even if you don't pursue it in the future. It is important to encourage students to reach out and find something they love. Not just a standard classroom
