         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Legislative branch consists of a senate and a House of Representatives. The senate consists of two members from each state  as the House of Representatives is decided by population and age. It dose require approval by each chamber of congress and a signature from the president. Grants congress including power to tax and spend, declare war, Impeach and try federal officers, Approve treaties and, make laws of course.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Judicial branch is part of the Federal government which includes the Supreme Court and 9 different judges. They are the highest court in our country. The Judicial branch determines the guilt or innocence of a person, hearing civil cases, protecting individuals rights, settling legal disputes and, punishing violators of the law. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Checks and balances operate throughout the U.S government. Checks and Balances work with all of the different branches. The legislative branch makes laws, but the President in the executive branch can veto those laws with a Presidential Veto. Another example is the President in the executive branch can veto a law, but the legislative branch can override that veto with enough votes. Also The judicial branch interprets laws, but the President nominates Supreme Court justices, court of appeals judges, and district court judges who make the evaluations.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The two most important Amendments to me are the First Amendment and the Second Amendment. The first amendment is free speech which is very important so you can speak without judgement. And the second amendment the right to bear arms I find this important because us citizens need our weapons for protection.<br><mark>Article 5 of the United States Constitution describes the process of amendments.</mark></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of the proposals talks about giving the younger votes more weight than older counterparts, the executive and legislative branches can be more structured to focus on the longterm health of the country.<br><br>The other proposal is about electing the president and vp by direct vote "no more electoral college". By replacing the electoral college with direct election would make campaigns states be more equal.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
