A plethora of books were translated into Arabic-- the main language for Muslims. Additionally, paper was inexpensive and abundant, so it was easy to add new information

2. Muslim Scholars were the centre of most existing discoveries. In Toledo, the preservation of their books led to a large interest in them. As they were available in multiple languages such as Greek, Latin and Hebrew, the universities had access to them.

3. Their adaption triggered a chain reaction of translation and learning.   •  Cheap paper and the passing of knowledge and scholars through the Arab lands to other part of the world.
  • They found the Latin translations of Arabic texts interesting because those in-turn were translations of Greek texts from great authors like Hippocrates.
  • With these books being used as the standard for things like medicine, when universities started to form, these texts were used as the base for teaching and new learning.
