And then by adapting to the sheer requirements that the drought set out they were able to survive.

The rest of the other finches with their smaller beaks however died because without the thick beak they couldn’t get the food that the rest could, meaning that the thicker beaked finches were Naturally selected and will most likely begin to reproduce

This shows that they have been through the process of natural selection
