I would occasionally send letters but I wouldn't want it to become part of my normal routine. I would bring my dog with me so I would have someone to talk to. Money would also be very important. If I want to I've my life to the fullest, that should not include dying of starvation, so I would keep my money to buy food. I would bring my journal so I can write about about my adventures and I would take a thousand pictures. Also it is really hard not being able to listen to music with headphones during class. When something gets taken away from you, that you use every single day, all the time it is hard. By the end of the day I think I will still be alive and might of actually enjoyed not having my phone.
Hour 4: I just got back from lunch, and it was really nice. Being able to sit at a table with another person, being forced to talk to each other was different. I'm not usually one to be on my phone while with other people, but when you can't even go on your phone to check instagram when there is awkward silence, was weird, I had to make conversation. 
Not having your cell phone for one day was a really fun new experiment. I didn't notice how much I actually used my phone. You don't have to follow the crowd. It is okay to be different and chose a different "path" in life. In high school, people feel like they have to fit in with the cool kids to be liked by others. As a teenager, you are afraid to try new things, because you don't want to be judge. What people need to understand, is that it is okay to be different and be your self. My sister is someone who has heard " a different drummer". She is always doing what she wants to do and doesn't let people tell her she can't do something. My sister is a very determined, independent young adult. She is going into the Air force in a couple months, even if some people she knows are opposed to it.
