When they asked me about the tree and why the hole in it was covered up I told them that it looked like it was pretty healthy and they only cover up a hole in a tree because it's affecting it. Of course I wouldn't know anything. Mr. Radley knows a lot more than I do about plants so if he covered up the hole then I am sure he knows what he was doing. She thought it was weird for someone to cover up the hole in tree. She couldn't understand why someone would want to do that at all.
