1. William Blake is addressing the Lamb to Jesus, the Lamb of God. 
  The biblical lamb is used as a key symbol to represent the peace prevailing in a 
  creation. 
2. The image of the child is associated with Jesus.
    The child-speaker approaches the ideas of nature and of God. 
3.They are common to many children's songs and hymns, perhaps because they
   make the songs easier to memorize. The repetition of the first two and last two
