pepsi has a nicer logo in my opinion bcs its simpler and easier to look at [ i think a logo is better if you can recognise it without the logo actually saying the company's name]. The pepsi logo has luvely contrast and is LIQUIDY if you get what i mean.

they are both good logos I'm only saying cokes a good logo bcs of how GOD DAMN FANCY it is, but pepsi is just better in everyway so slight favouritism.

logos are getting so damn simple so i researched why,

Increased focus on brand identity
Increased competition in the marketplace
Advances in digital marketing
Growth of digitalization across nearly all fields of life
The need for easier recognition
Fashion trends impact
The need for timelessness
Culture factor

and that pretty much sums it up, today you'll have to try pretty hard to find a logo that's not been at least influenced by the simple apocalypse.

a mind map is "a diagram in which information is represented visually, usually with a central idea placed in the middle and associated ideas arranged around it", although I find this method - laying my ideas out with bullet points - more effective.

Logo/ strapline

"Wish it was your birthday everyday?", I think is a suitable strapline/slogan as its a great hook for a customer. It's short and memorable and don't you wish it was your birthday everyday? I chose it to be a question as people instinctively want to answer and it builds curiosity at the very least.

Product

My product is a mobile app called, Freee that exploits food and entertainment company's 'birthday benefits/discounts' setting your birthday everyday to always get freebies through the company's apps

An issue with this app is that it'll be exclusive to the company's apps and online ordering as you would definitely get figured out if you go into the same store everyday claiming its your birthday.

Another issue would be as popularity rises, the companies will figure it out and code against my app.

A solution would be making it a very private app and sharing it by word of mouth.

Target audience

I'm looking to draw in an audience of coffee loving young adults or students who really don't have the money to pay. It may be immoral.

I think my orange logos really draw the cosy pumpkin spice aesthetic lovers [my young adult target audience], and if I was looking for ways to save money I would definitely notice a logo that says 'FREEE'.

Theme

Similar to the Subway Surfers logo I want mine to shift colour theme throughout the seasons to further draw that slightly more creative audience.

I definitely want to have a cottage core style to my app so, garden type earth tones and warm oranges. I think this is an underly used aesthetic in the food and entertainment industry that conveys such a lovely warming feeling, like your first 'Freee' coffee.

a mood board is "an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept", and I think they are very effective in projecting a particular thought, expression or aesthetic

i like how fancy this one is. its good because it makes it look less of a scam i guess. and the colours are very bold standing out from a crowd. this one is not as warming as the orange ones though and looks a little ai generated 👀 i wonder why 👀

if the orange was a little deeper this is my favourite one mainly because of how bold the FREE is wish always gets heads turning and then they see that warm pumpkin spice latte (as indicated by the colours). it really hits the target audience with this method.

Kit Kat – Have a break, have a Kit Kat . (very rythmic and noice)

M&Ms – Melts in your mouth, not in your hand (its funny and gets the attention of myth busters to)
