My goal is to create a product which showcases the causes effects and the solutions of ozone depletion.
Role
A grade ten student who has to create a product which tells about the causes, effects, solution of ozone depletion keeping in mind the global context scientific and technical innovation as well as the key concept development.
Audience
My client is miss ritu a science teacher of grade 7 and my audience is the students of her class. Age group 10-12.
Situation
My client miss ritu does not have enough resources to explain the children in her class (my audience) about ozone depletion therefore i need to make a product showcasing the causes, effects solutions etc of ozone depletion.
Product

In the world that we live in there are various environmental problems namely

·Ozone depletion

·One time use plastic

·Air pollution

·Water pollution

·Global warming

·Climate change

·Acid rain

And many more therefore I brain stormed for the solutions or spreading awareness of the problems given above and have listed down some of them

1. ozone depletion: the ozone layer is one of the most important things as it protects us from the ultra violet rays from the sun.

Products that can be made to spread awareness for this concern is firstly,

·A short and precise video which show cases the causes, effects and the solutions for ozone depletion.

·A poster which spreads awareness about ozone depletion.

2. air pollution/water pollution

·A short and a precise video which spreads awareness

·A poster which spreads awareness about air pollution/water pollution.

3. one time use plastic

·Make edibble cutlery

·Make lamps out of plastic waste or glasses.

All of the products that I have listed down should convey the message well, should be attractive and convince the audience to do good to the environment.

Ans. What I feel is there are a lot of pollutant present right now in the atmosphere like you have chlorofluorocarbons and a lot of propane’s etc. in the atmosphere so, what they are doing is they are causing ozone depletion so we are talking about pollutants these days but we don’t talk much about pollutants in the term of ozone depletion therefore I think we should be focusing on protecting the ozone now.

Q2. Ma’am do you have any additional resources to explain your class about ozone depletion?

Ans. See basic information is available but then we have to relate it now to the current situation so for that yes additional resources will be needed.

Q3. Ma’am would you mind if I make a product that gives a fair understanding to your class about ozone depletion?

Ans. Yes, I will be happy if you make a product that explains the class about ozone depletion but when you are making it keep in mind that you talking about the pollutants which are there in the atmosphere that are affecting ozone so you have to relate it to our daily lives.

Q4. According to you children get a better understanding about the topic ozone depletion from a video, poster or a model?

Ans. I think video would be better because of the audio visual.

Q5. Ma’am in the video what all information would you like me to add?

Ans. What all are the causes, effects and what are the precautions we are suppose to take and what is the role of each and every individual in protecting our ozone layer.
