         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Incorrect fixation. It can be caused by insufficient time in formalin or incorrect proportion sample:formalin. If the sample is too large, the sample might be cut in smaller size and fixation done in portions.</div><div>- Incorrect selection of sampling site. Depending on the method selected for the sampling, the clinician should send only the affected area and avoid selecting sites with more normal skin. There is no need to submit normal skin for comparison.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Skin biopsy is advised when a cutaneous lesion is suspected for malignancy or when further information for the diagnosis is needed.<br>- In malignant lesions, the pathologist will provide the grade and if the mass was completely removed or if malignant cells might still be present. This is done by analyzing the margin of the lesion.</div><div>- In benign lesions and nodules, infectious lesions and cell type will provide further information to the final diagnosis or to narrow the differential.</div>]]></description>
