SELF-AWARENESS

WHAT IS SELF AWERENESS ?
- "Self-awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with your internal standards. If you're highly self-aware, you can objectively evaluate yourself, manage your emotions and understand correctly how others perceive you."

2 STATE OF SELF-AWARENESS
- Public self-awareness: Being aware of how we can appear to others. Because of this consciousness, we are more likely to adhere to social norms and behave in ways that are socially acceptable.

While there are benefits to this type of awareness, there is also the danger of tipping into self-consciousness. Those who are especially high in this trait may spend too much time worrying about what others think of them.

- Private self-awareness: Being able to notice and reflect on one’s internal state. Those who have private self-awareness are introspective, approaching their feelings and reactions with curiosity.

For example, you may notice yourself tensing up as you are preparing for an important meeting. Noticing the physical sensations and correctly attributing them to your anxiety about the meeting would be an example of private self-awareness.

WHY IS SELF-AWARENESS IS IMPORTANT?
- becoming more self-aware can help you to proactively manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, rather than allowing them to manage you.

Self-awareness is the first step to setting goals. If you’re self-aware enough to know your strengths and weaknesses, you’ll know which goals you need to set and the strategies that will help you achieve them.

If we have too much confidence, it could be because we're not rooted in something real. Not everyone lacks confidence. we have to build confidence because when we have confidence we will get better and more proficient at something to build our confidence because we have expertise and the fact we will get better

One (1) paragraph personal reaction to the video (was it valuable to you? Which part of his/her talk do you remember the best? How that affect you?): my personal reaction in this video is that part remember the best is " Without confidence, we get stuck, and when we get stuck, we can't even get started" the reasons why confident really important especially when we want to talk to people because without confidence it could be because we need to readjust our goal plus confidence invites us to perform with certainty.

1) PATIENCE : you are willing to be patient, and you understand that in everything, there are failures and frustrations. to take them personally would be a detriment.

2) PASSION : if you want to succeed, if you want to live, it's not politeness but rather passion that will get you there. life is 10 percent what you experience and 90 percent how you respond to it.

3) SELF-CONFIDENCE: you trust yourself. its as simple as that. when you have that unshakeable trust in yourself, you're already one step closer to success.
