The data expressed is showing that although many communities are integrated, they will not stay that way. Eventually, the community will become dominated by only one race. This is intentional and doesn't only occur because of "white fleeing". This occurred in the 70's when whites left certain areas. Now whites stay where they are, and more blacks, hispanics, etc move into the area, while other whites do no move into that area. This is how a community will slowly become dominated by one race.

Efforts to desegregate schools are usually associated with using buses. Mostly African American and Hispanic students are bused from their neighborhoods in low-income, urban areas to attend mostly white schools in more affluent, suburban areas. But busing isn’t very popular. Some people declare it’s too costly, too forced, and too uncomfortable for everyone. And even on the buses, students unconsciously separate themselves.

This is a continuous occurence in the U.S. I know from experience that black neighborhoods are in terrible shape. Many houses are ran down and abandoned. There are very few prospering businessess. The nearest mile is at least 15 to 20 miles away. The education is bad. Teachers are ujnable to teach effectively because of the students. Some teachers don't care enough. Many school districts are closing down because of unflourishing funds. Many people are moving away for a better life. The students, ourfuture, need better help and guidance. But this is a topic many will not address.
