First and foremost, always complete extra credit.  If you have an A in a class and complete extra credit, you may end up getting an A+.  Always try to do it even if you don't believe you need it. Another tip I have is if you have lots of homework, take short brain breaks in between. Also, turning in assignments before the due date. This ties into the next tip which is to get the grade you want to maintain in a class by Mid-term. I will share a few things to you about 6th grade.  6th grade is nothing like fifth grade, you don't get one peice of homework from one class. You have seven classes which mean 7 class worth of homework. From my experience with dealing with that much is getting it done soon as the teachers done explaining. You don't want Someone or Something around you that will make it hard to pay attention, because you may miss an important detail, and most of the Lessons on that day is teaching about is what your homework is going to be about.
