1. Self Reflection
Throughout this program, I have learned many valuable things that I could not have possibly learned somewhere else so I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. The sessions really opened my eyes on how many ways we can actually help the community and if we want to help them, there are many things that we need to learn and understand to make sure things go well. We need to plan and execute the plan well with a clear mission in mind- which is to help the community for their own benefits. It definitely makes me want to participate more in community work so that my knowledge will not stop here but continue to grow through more participation.

2. My Pledge and Commitment
I pledge to share the knowledge I have with my peers and the public so they too can embark on their own journey helping the community. I would also like to volunteer more whether it be through physical volunteering or donation- I will try my best to give my support by any means.

3. Personal Development Plan
- Improve critical thinking and communication skills by joining and organizing projects.
- Learn more about on how my degree and knowledge in actuarial science can be used to help the community.
- Volunteer in NGOs that have causes I am interested to learn more which is about empowering women, fighting for their rights and providing education for those who need it (but I will not limit to helping this only- when we want to help, we cannot be biased and choose only specific cause, instead we must be inclusive and help all)

1. Self-Reflection

Throughout YK CBL programme, I learnt that everyone wants to be the best version of themselves in order to give back to the society. However, along the process, we should never forget to acknowledge ourselves. Our feelings are valid. The moment we realise the potential that we have within ourselves, only then we can be passionate, continuously improving our skills, able to lead a better teamwork , can make a wise decision and most importantly, have the strength and confidence to fight for others. With that in mind, we should then tackle the problem along with aligning it with the SDGs.

2. My Pledge and Commitment

Education is very important and I realised that not everyone is privileged to the access of the system. I want to help in teaching the under-privileged student as a part time upon graduating from my Mathematics degree. I might not be able to help everyone, but at least I want to help change one’s life to have a better future.

3. The most important thing is for us to take the first step and extend a helping hand to whoever is in need.

1. Self reflection
People tend to think to be a leader just to be great. I beg to differ because my journey to be a leader do not really shine with rainbow. Joining YKLDP programme makes me realise that there are so much more things to do in order to be a good leader. I have learnt on how to build up confidence when talking to people, try to be the one to answer the questions, take time thoroughly to ensure my ideas can be applicable the way they should be. One important thing that I think most of people forget is, to be a leader is not just about communicating well and have a good networking, but it is also about to get your mindset and have high spiritual motivation in yourself. If you yourself can't have positive and rational thinking, you definitely will have hard time to discipline others.

2. My Pledge and Commitment
I aim to be a leader that will not hurt others. Learning all the communication skills, the psychological trick to lead, ways to solve crisis in an organisation wont be useful if I be a leader that do not have empathy towards others. I want to be someone who make our community have empathy towards each other, in order to do that I need to be better for myself first. Other than that, I would like to join more community work that have my passion in it. I aim to helps those girls and women who have been the great survivor to change the perspective of the world towards them. Although it is hard, I will try to help as many people I can that do not have the strength to say NO to people. I just want to make our Malaysia a better and safer place for everyone.

3. My Personal Development Plan
I will be the leader that can understand others. If I want to work with community, I need to understand them better. Right now, I usually have trouble to understand the reason behind all those thing than happen. Slowly but surely I will have the understanding towards people and work with Women's Aid Organisation to help me achieve my pledge. Other than that, I aim for people around me to learn on how to respect other's time. Sometimes, we tend to over work and don't really feel bad to respond to those text messages after 7pm but I want to change this. Everyone should have this though in mind that working hour is acceptable from 8 am to 6 pm, if this can be apply to our society, I am sure we will have better quality of life.

As a leader, a part of the decision-making includes the understanding of ourselves. Here, I gained an understanding of my potential as well as my vulnerabilities that should be polished towards improvement, which is very important to build myself as a better person and hence, a better leader.

Also, this programme made me realize that there are so many roles that we could play to be beneficial for the community.

1. Self-reflection

Attending YKLDP is such a humbling and refreshing experience. It taught me various soft skills and practical techniques on how to approach problems effectively. I thoroughly appreciate the whole module and particularly enjoy the auditoriums as they address some key major issues and give me valuable exposure on different leaders' perspective. I like how all of the speakers are so different yet all of them managed to make a tremendous impact on society. It made me realize that it's okay to be different, or you don't have to be somebody big to actually make difference. I am also thankful that we are introduced to the SDG concept thoroughly throughout the whole module because honestly I never thought much of it before. Will eternally be grateful for this opportunity!

2. My Pledge and Commitment

I pledge to contribute to the community by volunteering with NGOs and organizations, particularly those that are focused on health and education works. As I am a medical student, I will continue to advocate and raise awareness on health-related issues to combat the knowledge gap and healthcare disparities in Malaysia. I aim to apply all the knowledge I gained from YKLDP to become a responsible and credible leader that will leave an impact and positive legacies on humankind

3.

1. Self-Reflection

Through-out this programme, I’ve learnt that having options is a privilege. Some people are less fortunate not to have the option to live the life the way they wanted. People who are blessed enough with options and resources should go hand in hand with each other to make the world a better place for everyone. Having a position is not a requirement to be a leader, rather having the will to make a change and make a move towards the change while bringing others together with you in the journey, will make you a leader. “Leadership without humanity is like a body without a soul”, statement made by one of the guest speakers strike me hard on the importance of having compassion and empathy while being a leader. Change is vital in ensuring that people could all have equal opportunity to live a better life.

2. My Pledge and Commitment

I pledge that upon graduation, I will contribute to the society according to my expertise.

1. Self reflection

During the program I realise that we must do something to our community where there are many people still in need. I learned that many people want to help other but they do not have time to do so. That where we need the NGOs to do their job. The more the number of NGOs the more people will get help. Other than that, NGO must also have at least one of the SDGs as their goal as it will help our country to get on the right track to achieve it.

2. My Pledge and Commitment

I want to create a system where I can connect more kind heart people with the people in need to make sure we can help each other to have a sustain life.

1. Self Reflection
There are many steps in helping a community. Through out this entire program, I've learnt that we can't just simply dive into community work without the knowledge of its basics.
I've learnt that its important for us to recognize that each community has their own wants and needs. As learnt in Audi 8 & 9, some communities may need food others might need diapers. However, I've also learnt that even at the grassroots level, there are things that we can do to help out communities in need. What's important is, that we have the tendency and the willingness to help these communities out. This program has also taught me how to challenge ideas that normally would not be challenged: How do we set up an effective system to implement SDGs in Malaysia? How can we combat the suffering faced by refugees in Malaysia? Many of our suggestions about SDGs were challenged during lab 8, whereas my team and I discussed
a lot of solutions for the lab 7 write up on how to aid refugees in emergency. At the end of the day, I'm grateful and humbled about the chance and privilege that I've received, to be able to be on the side that is able to help others. With that, I'd like to conclude this self reflection section by summarizing it: It's essential that we, especially as future leaders, learn proper ways on how to tackle community issues, such as emergency aid and sustainability, in order to make our country stand toe to toe with the other powerhouse countries of the world

2. My Pledge and Commitment

I pledge:
- to study how to properly help the communities that are in need and aid in bringing them out of hardship

- to build a sustainable system for communities

- to make strides in implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in Malaysia

- to work together with other brilliant minds towards a common goal.

3. Personal Development Plan

- Continue to be affiliated with my NGO

- Learn as much as i can about humanitarianism and volunteerism

- Educate myself about sustainability and
its feasibility in today's Malaysia

1. Self-Reflection

I learned that the scholarship given to me isn't something that everyone is capable of having. Being a leader has a lot of challenges, even preparing myself to become a leader is a challenge itself. With tonnes of examples from the panels on auditoriums, I realised that being a leader is a selfless act and even so, it is still a tough task with a lot of setbacks coming my way and I just need to learn how to tackle all the setbacks to succeed. I learned that despite all the challenges, there is always a way to solve the problems in our community. For example, we have a lot of NGOs nowadays that is fighting hunger all around the country and gender equality. I also learned how conscience and having principle is crucial in becoming a leader, despite showing great examples to others. Lastly, I learned that there is never enough helping hands to ensure we live in a better environment and better lives.

2. My Pledge and Commitment

After the completion of my studies, I aim to attract and encourage communities in Malaysia to the importance of technologies and the internet and how to make use of them correctly and safely. I also aim to further my involvement in volunteer works and join an NGO to help the people in need in Malaysia.

3. Personal Development Plan (PDP)

- Take part in more volunteer work while I am still in university besides focusing on my studies.
- Gain more knowledge regarding the Industrial Revolution on going around the world.
- Learn required skills to ease my involvement with the NGOs (eg. communication skills).
- Start to take part in IT-related events to obtain more knowledge and networks in volunteer works.
