I complete feedback in reviews, including that from their employer and/or tutor, I also ask the apprentice to assess themselves, their performance and progress such as in assessments, and provide my own to them, I try to include what they’ve done well, as well as what could be improved and include how this might be achieved, setting any relevant targets where needed.

Complete a review and or a formative assessment, and leave feedback to how they’ve got on. Explaining what they did well, and what they need to improve on.

Completing professional discussions and the seem principle. Ask any questions they have on improvement points.

During reviews I discuss what work the apprentice has been doing and get them to talk to me about their knowledge behind this, and observe their skills. I'll give positive feedback where appropriate and also feedback regarding areas they could still improve.

If I were a TO I’d be ensuring that they were given feedback following every review and combined assessment opportunity, either formative or summative, as well as setting them tasks to complete between official visit opportunities. AT

During our on site or over the phone reviews every 10-12 weeks and also during our on site assessments and setting SMART targets, also having regular meeting with employers to keep them informed of the learners progress.
