I am also working as an AmeriCorps volunteer and a nanny for an amazing family. With this in mind, I would absolutely love to work with middle schoolers. As a school counselor, I also really want to build a strong, positive, supportive and openminded community. I love the variety that this profession presents. I also appreciate how it allows those in this profession to be a constant support for students and staff. I just think overall this is a really awarding role to play. I was an RA to 38 freshmen girls my senior year at the University of Pittsburgh.
