I think that the most important legacy would be Math and science because math and science has evolved so much and is used so much in today's life. For example without science Covid-19 may have never been found and this whole situation would have spiraled even more than it already did. Math is also very important in our daily life because when you buy something the store and you have to pay tax you have to do the math. Science and Math are also very important for when you get a job. For many reasons...money, knowledge all around.

I think that the most important legacy is democracy. Democracy is used in our government today. It allows a better representation of the society. Each person (with limits and exceptions) has a bigger and better voice that allows them to be heard. For example, we all vote for president. If we didn't have a democracy we wouldn't have any control over the choice about who our leader will be. We owe this way of government back to Athens and it's philosophers so I believe it is their greatest legacy.

Reilly Dangler

I think that the most important legacy is Math and Science. I think this because we use these important and useful things in everyday life and sometimes don't even realize it. Lets look back when there was the plague. There wasn't enough science and math known to stop it so it kept spreading and making people sick. Now we have all these scientists that studied ancient places and focused on medics, so now we have a better understanding about medicine and diseases and how they spread, for example COVID19. Thanks to ancient Greece and other places we now know more about science then we did back then. Math is also a great takeaway from Greece because we learned a lot from what they knew. Even better, we have improved it. Like how we learned more about geometric objects and shapes because they had interesting building structures that we use today for math and architecture.

I think that the most important legecy is math ans science because throughout the years some of the questions we thought would never get answered are getting answered and some of the things we thought were impossible are now possible. Without the Ancient Greeks andd all of there nolage we would probably be held back and only get to the things we are doing now in 100 years or so. Also if Covid-19 happened 100 years ago we were probably not going to be prepared and then so many more people would die. That is why I think math and science were/are the most important legacy.

Many diseases would not have a cure and the whole world would just be out of balance.

Without science, our doctors and surgeons wouldn't be as good as they are today and they might not save as many lives from illness and trauma. Everyone uses math everyday, even if it is addition. Without math we wouldn't have evolved half as much as we have. We wouldn't have nice things like buildings because architecture uses math.

I think the most important Greek legacy is their advances in architecture. Greek architecture is made to look perfect and pleasing to the eye. They used several tricks for this, like if in the middle of the steps it bends up slightly it looks perfectly straight. The Greeks also did impressive work with columns, making them tall, solid structures with carvings made of solid marble. Many buildings are based off of Greek architecture. If you go to Washington DC then you will see many buildings made of marble with strong tall columns at the front like the Parthenon, a famous Greek temple. That is why architecture is their most important legacy. But my favorite one is Greek mythology and myths because they are really entertaining and cleverly explain things in nature like the seasons or why a certain animal or plant looks or acts a certain way.

I think that the most important Greek legacy is science and technology. They excelled in the field of mathematics and we still use many of their theories and ideas to this day. They invented the Pythagorean Theorem which finds the sides of a right triangle in geometry. Some examples of Greek technology are medicine, astronomy, and plumbing.

I belive that the Greeks most important legacy was math and science. I think this because math and science have helped us in so many ways and they are a very important part of our everyday lives. We might of eventually figured out everything the Greeks figured out but we wouldn't of learned about it until much later. We would not be as far a long in the feilds of science, math, and technology if it weren't for the Greeks who firgured it out. An exxample is Aristarchus who concluded that the earth revolved around the sun. If it weren't for him we might not of figured that out until much later which would put many other scientific discoveries on hold. Not only would that happen but without some of the Greeks scientific discoveries we might not have as advanced technology and we might not know how to cure specific deseases that we know how to cure and we might not have the right technology or knowledge that doctors and surgeons need. We might not be able to safe peoples lives or give proper treatment to those who are sick or hurt.

I think the most important Greek legacy was math and science. We use math and science to make everyday activities easier, such as knowing what to bring/wear because of weather and shopping/buying things. Throughout the years math and science have evolved so much, allowing us to try to make better decisions, and advance our understanding of our world. The Greeks discoveries, although not aimed at certain fields, helped us now in many ways. For example we use geometry (Euclid), and the discovery that earth rotates around the sun (Aristarchus), to help get to space and make discoveries about our solar system. We use math and science that they came up with everyday for simple things, and without this math and science everyday life would be a lot harder. Using simple geometry saves people lives, because doctors use it to create tools and know that performing a surgery from a different angles will have different outcomes. Without these discoveries our world would be a lot different than it is today.

I think the most important legacy is Science because a lot of the things we do today is circled around science like technology, electricity, and household products we use everyday. Science helps us figure out things that we use to make life easier for us. Science is the base of a lot of things we do and use. Like if you have face cream, someone had to experiment with different ingredients to get the right mix. Or if you had window cleaner. Someone had to experiment and find the best ingredients so it will work. This is why I think science is the most important legacy.

I think the most important legacy is math. This is because math is used everywhere. In section 5, it says Euclid helped extend the branch of math called geometry. Geometry is very important because it can help us understand all the shapes around us. The world is made out of many different 3D shapes put together, and geometry helps us how much space they take up, the perimeter, and so many other things. Geometry helps us understand the surfaces and angles we see everyday.

People could get their voices heard and feel included. It's not made up of a select group of people, it's the many. However, there are a select group, but the people still choose who the people in that group are.

Democracy allows for there to be multiple viewpoints, and make making decisions easier. It also includes the people, which is a very big part of our country today. Making a law is a very big decision, and it impacts the people very largely, which is all the more reason why this is important.
