This is an image of the Statue of Liberty in New York City. This represents the "Art and Architecture" group of the "Feature of Civilization" because this was given to us by France and stands at 305 feet and 6 inches tall. This incredible piece of art weighs 225 tons and is an incredibly well known piece of architecture all over the world. Tourists from all different countries come to visit this in New York City. The statue took many years to be completed and was totally finished in July of 1884. It was not until June of 1885 that the Statue arrived in New York onboard the French frigate "Isere". This massive statue traveled in 350 pieces and was reassembled once it arrived in New York City.
