Ballister:
- in my mind absolutely yes (but most people who hc agere nimona don't hc bal as an age regressor)
- anyway he regresses to like BABY age, like, infant age
- yknow before life kinda went alleyoop
- needs his paci or He Will Cry (but also loses them constantly)
-favorite toy is a cat plushie
- is either completely non-verbal (save for baby sounds), or says very little (non-verbal littles, love to see em (just like me fr))
- he fsr hates sippy cups
- ambrosius found that out one day when he absentmindedly gave a very little bal a sippy and he immediately got very fussy
- so yeah only bottles for him (he also refuses to hold them himself)
- a little bit of a brat in his older little age range
- age range is 0-3

Nimona:
- absolutely an age regressor
- owns a giant shark plushie
- just walks up to bal and goes "daddy?" like the vine (iykyk)
- warms up to amb too
- def a sippy cup kinda kid and denies that she's a baby up and down and will refuse to drink from anything that remotely resembles a baby bottle in any way (it HAS to look like a sippy to her)
- i feel like she wouldn't use pacis but would def have chewy toys bc chew chew nice
- but also most definitely steals bals paci occasionally to mess w him (until ambrosius tells her to give it back)
- hyperactive and very verbal little
- little age is 2-5

Ambrosius HC | TW: past s00icide attempt

(Small note: wanted Ambrosius to have long hair and cut it off later in the HC so yeah long haired Ambrosius)

So it's after the events of the movie, but little does Ballister know, Ambrosius has had...not the best time mentally. Actually, a month after the incident, Ambrosius attempted.

A little bit of backstory, Ambrosius has always had thoughts of leaving (my euphemism for unalive), but he's so busy, he pushes it to the back of his mind.
But right after the incident, the feelings and thoughts come back to him like a tsunami. And they hurt even worse.

Now, the way he coped (or tried to cope) with this is by making "lolz im gonna k1ll myself" jokes. Like, he'll mess up during training or sparring or some shit and mutter "i'm going to fucking k1ll myself". The other knights don't think much of it, but sometimes got suspicious.

And their suspicions are confirmed when Todd, of all people, find him laying on the floor unconscious, with his sword laying beside him, a slitted left wrist and blood on the floor.

So that was fun.

(back to the tense after the movie)

Later on, one night, Ballister awakes to the sound of crying and then a scream. Not a typical "oh im scared" scream. No. The anguished scream of someone who's going through it.

He runs out into the kitchen, to see Ambrosius, curled up in a ball. He crouches down next to his boyfriend and asks what's wrong, but Ambrosius simply sobs into Ballister's shoulder.

The next day they have a talk about it. (I also HC that Ambrosius has a lot of intrusive thoughts (just like me fr) so that's this next part) Then, in a moment of vulnerability, he pulls up the sleeve of the hoodie he wears so often to reveal fresh pink scars, up and down the underside of his arm.
Then over the course of a few months, Ambrosius works through some stuff with the help of Ballister, Nimona, and a therapist.
He talks about his constant intrusive thoughts and his feelings of wanting to go.

And now, a random snippet:

"It's so much, Bal. And...I'm so afraid, so afraid to lose control and- and hu- hurt someone or-" his rambling halted as Ballister wrapped his arms around him.

He buried his face in Ballister's shoulder, sobbing and crying, at one point screaming.

As he calmed down, he went limp in his boyfriend's arms.

"Bal...it hurts."

"I know, my love."

"I know."

After a few moments of silence, Ambrosius spoke up again.

"I want to cut my hair. Bal, I can't with my long hair. It ties me to Gloreth so much, I hate it. Why am I her direct descendant? Why, Bal?" His words trailed off into a whisper.

Ballister rubbed his back.

"If you want your hair cut, we can go get-"

"No...I'm not...letting anyone touch my hair but you. I can't deal with it...not right now." Ballister nodded.

"We can do that, love."

There's always been these thoughts.
Not a voice.
Rather, just imagery.
Disturbing imagery.
Hurting people.
Sometimes even hurting Bal.
But he can't help these thoughts.
He can't stop them.
He hates them.
He wants them to go away, but they don't.
Sometimes, they're him hurting or k1lling himself.
Jumping off.
Cutting.
Knives.
He can't help it.

But he's too scared to tell anyone.

Ambrosius:
- is the tired CG
- knows and understands that both bal and nimona when they're little are very sensitive
- says "definitely don't regress but sometimes just don't act my age"
- is really very tired when both bal and nimona regress at the same time
- but at the end of the day he just wants to make sure the babies are happi little blorbos
- tired smiles
- sometimes doesnt feel his age but hides it from the two others
- until bal forces it out of him and he ends up crying like a little kid (so much for "not a regressor" amb)
- not really a regressor but
- ok what im trying to say is he regresses very very occasionally like only on the really bad days and he cant really help it
- so yeah
