         <title>Post 3: Texts in History </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Going up loving everything about history all I knew was books that were on subjects that I would find and read for classes. Until this class I had not developed a a sense of what makes up a text.<br>For many a text in history has always been the book that was put in front of me with the goal of learning everything there is that the book has to say. Over the semester I have evolved my thinking to see that the use of text in a history classroom is so much broader then just a book. The use of film for instance as a text is a strong tool for teaching students. A film can be a point of focus for some students as well as a reference that can connect an idea for the student. There are virtually&nbsp;unlimited texts to help with a students learning and it is our jobs as educators to use the best ones.  </div>]]></description>
