There are a lot of teams gathered to operate the whole ship. For example, pilot team, engineering team, entertainment team, broadcast team, human resource team, medical teams, food and beverages team, security team, sport & health team and housekeeping teams. The pilot teams cover the aspect of safety throughout the journey, navigations and always need to keep updated meanwhile the engineering team in charge to keep the machinery, engine, pipes and other working and does not propose any sign of damages. Broadcast team and entertainment team somehow works together, to monitor every part of the ship and to deliver entertainment to the customers’ room through the television. Human resource team work to communicate with guest and need to have a good relationship with the guest. On some cases like death, they need to act like family to produce comfort. They also in charge of removing badly behave guest that disturb other guest or the cruicification of the ship at the next port. Medical team are on guard 24/7 for any emergency happened on board or death reported. Meanwhile, housekeeping team keep the cleanliness of the guest room, ship area, lodging and disposable wastage on guard. Freedoms have their own machinery to compile all the recyclable and disposable wastage, keep them arranged while waiting to arrive at the final destination. No wastage is being thrown into the sea. 

There are a lot of services and product provided and develop on board for the customers to access. There is food service operation that provided food for more than 6000 people every day. Over 250 chefs are working together to keep food available 24/7. In this cruise, fine dining is possible and cafeteria style services can be access easily by the customers. Customers can also order for room services for food. Freedoms restock for more than 500 tons of foods at the start since there are no opportunities to restock once it began it journey. The cruise practiced a very strict system in purchasing and storing of the food item for the cruise. As the food cannot be taken in or out of the ship during the trip from other country. Therefore, all the food item must be sufficient throughout the trip. 

There are many departments that have different responsibilities and work to do. However, all of the department need to work together as a team to make sure all the of the process can run smoothly. For example, inventory manager and executive chef work as a team as they have different scope to their job. Inventory manager manage the logistic of the food item before the sailing while the executive chef check on the supplies that had arrived.

Pool, bar, restaurant, room service, party planner and many other services also provided to entertain and servicing the passenger. The cruise also provided many shop, restaurant and bar that can fit a small town for the entertainment and for the passenger to go for the shopping during the trip. This cruise can cater a total of 6000 guest at one time and they provide a high class royal treatment to ensure that all of their guest are comfortable. To cater their guest, they used tons of foods. So, the food need to be loaded fully. This is because, according to their maritime law, they cannot restock the food by taking the food, in or out from other country. This is to ensure the safety of their guest when consuming the food. For the food and beverages services, the guest were provided with a dining hall (formal event), pool bar, a lot of shops and bars like a small town and 24 hours of foods would be available a day. With a lot of bars provided, the guest can have a different experience while boarding and staying at the same place.

When getting the supplies, the chef would personally check the item arrived during loading process. If there is any spoiled, item, they need to be substitute. So, this is when the inventory team would carefully check the list of all item. Sometimes, there is also some unavoided event can happen such as an illness. There is one time that almost 300 guest were infected with a stomach bug illness. So, they promote to the guest, to sanitize their hand before eating, by providing a hand sanitizer at the dining hall. 

While having fun, the operation team of the cruise helps the guest to save their precious memories. This cruise have their own broadcast team which is Royal Caribbean TV (RCTV) to capture every moment and activities happened on the cruise, and broadcast them on the tv for every room. This will make the guest feel very excited and appreciated. Furthermore, this cruise provided a professional photographer for their guest. If they wanted to hire them, some charges would be taken. The customer service team also will give a full assist on their guest if they need their help. Other than that, they also have the room service , laundry services and waste management team to manage all the waste from the cruise.

For the precaution, this cruise have safety training to trained on when there is an accident occurs such as storm or fire outbreak. This is because, safety is very crucial. Moreover, they were on the open sea that far away from land.. So, they would be train on what to do when these accident occurs. FREEDOM also equipped with 30 large life boat and 78 inflatable life raft to be used when needed. They also have robotic camera to helps the safety department in monitoring the guest and ensure their safety all the time.

While sailing, the cruise would stop at a certain location to give another entertainment for their guest. For example, these cruise would stop at the famous shopping destination along their journey which is Grand Canyon. So, the guest will be given a time to rest and enjoyed on the land and make a memorable spending.

As mentioned by the Cruise Director, Ken Rush is that he wants to make sure that everybody satisfied with the services prepared for the passengers. To make sure that it is achieved, there are units built and they have their own important functions on board. 

            For foods and beverages, they prepared foods for 24 hours. The operating staff for the food and beverage operation did a great job on the safety and desirable food can be served to the passengers. They also make sure that the passengers safe from any infection. They place sanitizes so that the passengers will sanitized their hand before they start to dig in. For the waste management team, they will pile up the trashes and gathered the same group of trashes and they will manage those trashes properly. 

            There are room services prepared for the passengers on the cruise and also laundry services which is the busiest laundry services on the ocean. This cruise also prepared a TV channel that broadcast to every room in the cruise. It is called RCTV. They also responsible for the main event which is the new year countdown digital clock where everyone in the cruise relying on that. At the heart of the ship is where bars and shop are located and there will be shows held there for example the Around-The-World Parade. 

            This cruise also prepared variety of alternatives for the passenger to have fun and spent their time. This ship also prepared the On board Wave Simulator which is the first in the world where everyone on board can have fun. The Cruise Manager (Ken Rush) also held a game-show that attract most of the people especially couples and married couple. Another services prepared is the photo shoot by professional photographers and also on-board Photoshop. One of the most popular destination offered by this cruise is the South Caribbean where it is packed with activities for the cruise passengers. Other than that, this cruise also has their own theme park which is H2O Theme Park which enjoyed by everyone in the cruise. Also prepared with the cantilevered whirlpool which Freedom is the first ship to have that pool. 

            For the security of the passenger, they have the Guest Relation department to handle which usually involve those guests who are rude or doing things that disturbing the other passengers. This department handle the case that is closely related to passengers. They also have undercover security that uses robotic cameras and they also have the Freedom’s Law Enforcement people that low-key do their work so that they are not known by others. 

In conclusion, this cruise ship included every important component in hospitality and tourism network. Those components are lodging and transportation industry, travel and tourism industry component, food service industry components and hospitality components. 

In terms of operations, the cruise was fully stocked with the foods needed along the journey. Everything needed in the cruise must be loaded from the beginning to avoid the cruise from running out of stock. This cruise has been designed with the latest technology to detect any bad weather that might happened and it also had an advance firefighting training. Also, the guest is required to sanitize their hands often especially after eating to avoid and minimize any decease from spreading to other guests. When there is passenger who got sick while on the cruise, the passenger will be immediately isolated. Foods are available 24 hours a day and the cruise has it own processing plant where the team management will gather or stored all the wastage until it can be eliminated or dispose of on land. For those guests that does not behave, the management team will ask them to leave from the ship on the next port. During the ice-skating show, the engineer and producers are working together by activating the ship’s stabilizers to make sure the show are run smoothly on the New Year’s Eve night.

The cruise also got its own mini theme park and water park including swimming pool, ice skating facility and on-board wave simulator. In addition, room service order is also available same goes to the laundry service. The cruise is very convenience because it has a shops, bars and theater that can fit about 1500 people. For a big number of guests, is not easy to handle it alone. They have a medical team, human resources team, engineering team, food and beverage team, and hospitality service. Besides that, there are restaurant and bar. So that they can make a choice for hanging out in the cruise. They even have their own television broadcast station. For sport and recreation part, there are climbing wall, basket ball court and so on. 

For wastage management, they collect all the rubbish, from solid food, glass, canned drink and remove the wastage with a very systematic way. Medical team will always be prepared for emergency case, such as food poisoning or guest getting sick while in the cruise. They made it all the operation going so smoothly to make sure all the customer is getting the best service and memorable memories as much as they spend their holidays in the cruise. They are having so much fun and celebrate the New Year Celebration on the cruise.

Firstly, Freedom of the Seas care about their customer thus their are treated well or like a royale people. The interior design of the Freedom of the Seas is luxurious and elegant to bring in the holiday mood and filling up everything the customer needs. 

As I can see the operations that operate in here is Engineering Operator to making sure the ships are engaged, Doctors to take care of the customer's health as before they've been attacked by the NoroVirus that effected half of the customer thus the Doctor role became much needed. Managing Director who's the mastermind in creating the events and making sure all progress are in order and organised .The Security to manage and protect customer well being as long they are in the ships. To cater the amount of guest, food production team is preparing food and available for 24 hour service including room services. They are also have management team which prepare and control food wastage called ' Waste Management Processing Plant ' where the wastage are replenish and crushed to be disposed when they are in land . This is to prevent from any contamination. Laundry service are also provided and the service is very fast as they have to clean and prepare new clothes at a time . Plus the Management Team also have to deal with customer behavior, they are important as they made decisions for other customers hospitality too for example handling rude customer behaviour and the customer who died on board .
